Initially very helpful and good at upselling. The initial travel packages have terrible flight times so upselling is almost guaranteed if customers want to be able to get taxis from airports and meet hotel check in deadlines. Zero support once payment is taken and no confirmation of you pay extra money for a change in flights. No response after leaving two messages and emailing a handful of times. Will avoid wowcher deals if I have to book through Travelolo again.

Terrible!!! Don’t book holiday with them. Booked my holiday with them with wowcher last April 2022. And found out when I did check in online, the time of our flight was changed. Rang the customer service of the airline and they said the time of the flight was changed last June 2022 but unfortunately the Travelolo did not inform me by call or email regarding changes. I have to change my train ticket due to time changes.
It’s look like they are just money grabber and don’t care about their customer. Very disappointed. Also very rude when talking to their customer over the phone. Disgusting 🤢!!!

I agree with other reviews that the positive reviews appear to be fake. I bought a deal through Wowcher to go on a holiday to Iceland, flying from Glasgow and the trip would be organised by Travelolo. The next day I got a phone call from someone called Sam from Travelolo who straight away asked if it would be possible for me to fly from Edinburgh instead, I was fine with this. He said he had a better flight that was better flying times and would give me an extra day in Iceland, sounded great, I asked if it was the same price and sarcastically he replied "obviously not", and this was the start of a nightmare few weeks.

He insisted that he tell me about this new deal he had and when I told him I wasn't interested and just wanted the deal I paid for he hung up on me.

A few days went by and I was supposed to receive my flight details within 48 hours of the purchase but nothing came through. I emailed them to request it after 72 hours and then Googled the company; that's when I saw the reviews and that others had experienced the same thing. I immediately asked them to refund me. After that someone called Nick rang me and said "oh I heard you weren't happy with your flight plan" no I just want a refund "well I've got this great deal here", no I want a refund "just let me tell you about this deal", no I want my refund, hung up.

I got in touch with Wowcher who took days to reply and then eventually wrote to Travelolo on my behalf to find out what was happening but then Travelolo stopped responding so I had to chase again for the next two weeks. Wowcher refused to allow me to have a refund and instead credited my Wowcher account but this was my first Wowcher purchase and I never intended to use them again.

Weeks later after raising a claim with Resolver and threatening to involve their CEO I was eventually issued my refund.

Do not touch this business with a barge pole. Good luck to anyone fighting to get their money back.

If you are reading this review, it’s likely that you’ve already paid for your wowcher deal, and you’ve been called by someone called Sam at Travelolo.

You’ve just been told you have to spend more money to get decent flights, and clearly, you’re not happy about it. Well, same here!

In our case, we were asked to spend an extra £80-£100 ish in order to maximise the time spent in our destination. Without spending this extra money, they have designed the offer purposefully so that you get the minimum possible time in the destination possible to make spending the extra cash seem like a blessing in disguise. Unfortunately for them, we are the type of people who can see straight through it.

All of these 5 star reviews you see below are fake. Why would anyone be happy about this setup? The refund process is a chore but just be persistent with it. Wowcher customer services (based in India) are not interested whatsoever, as from their perspective, the voucher is “redeemed” and there is nothing they can do. This voucher is redeemed immediately after you contact Travelolo (part of the scam and making it harder to get a refund) as they “require” it for the initial call back. I think I spoke to 6 different people at wowcher who shut me down immediately after checking the code was redeemed. I told them this was a scam and they were still not interested. I had to go outside the usual support channel by emailing UK based employees. Travelolo did nothing, they were eventually forced to refund our money by wowcher.

We will never buy a holiday from wowcher again. This is a modern day scam which Travelolo shouldn’t be allowed to get away with, we were lucky to stick with it and get our money back.

Honestly the worst company, rude/ unhelpful staff, , do not use!

I purchased 2 wowchers for weekend trips to Venice. This was advertised as each wowcher applying for a shared room so 2 had to be bought per couple. This included flights, accommodation and hand luggage guaranteeing a min 40 hours in venice. I did this, so purchased 4 in total for £485 on 26th August. Once I redeemed the voucher I was contacted by travelolo and paid an additional £240 to alter flights to maximise my time in Venice. They had scheduled initially for me to leave the UK at 6pm returning 8am Sunday. I was sent my confirmation of flight, ATOL Certificate and hotel voucher. This included confirmation of my hand luggage.
When the time came to check in I was advised by the airline that hand luggage wasn't included and that I would need to pay a further £255. I contacted travelolo and sent follow up emails to them with their evidence. I contacted easyjet who advised that merchants should specify hand baggage when booking flights and travelolo didnt do this, they only provide a cabin/ handbag as standard. Travelolo have called and told me that it is not their job to check flight baggage policies and therefore if I want hand luggage I should pay the airline even though they advertised and confirmed via email that this was included in the price.
I contacted wowcher and asked for them to step in to resolve this or help for me to be issued a refund. They contacted travelolo who've said I should refer to the airline policy and said no. Wowcher just keep referring me back to them
My bank have had to step in to assist and will be opening a dispute on this payment on the basis of false advertising. A bunch of crooks only after your money who will not resolve things should they go wrong. Beware

Absolute scam. Advertised on wowcher as £329 per person to Disneyland Paris. Confirm booking which is non refundable. Get a call to confirm flights. Get a scripted load of rubbish that public transport does run at the time our flights are. Goes on to say it will be an inconvenience etc. Suggests a different flight without stating any extra cost. Asks for long card number and says I have to pay an extra £118. Get a confirmation email today for the hotel. Additional fees are payable for your room on arrival of 23.07 Euros. Not much money but it’s like you are trapped and already spent the money, £787 at this point and it’s like, what next? If I could cancel I would but not even offered any cancellation insurance either. My advice. Don’t bother.

Absolute joke of a company. Like booking a holiday through a 2 year old who doesn't want the blue cup when they've thrown the purple one in the big bin. Firstly the advertisement for the holiday was wrong. Second they sent us someone else's holiday confirmation. Promised callbacks within 48 hours and they contacted us on the day we were checking out. Said we would have an upgrade due to the data breach, never happened they hadn't even been in contact with the hotel. Only offered a refund for the supposedly included breakfast that was 45 euro per day when we brought it up. So I hope our issue was a one off as we also as mentioned in every other review had to pay extra on the spot for more time on our holiday. We had a wonderful holiday regardless of any issues with the company, even if the whole time away we wondered if we would even have tickets to return home or something else was going to go wrong

Awful company one great big scam. Got deal off wowcher and originally stated a price for hotel + flights then rang me to say there was only 1 seat available on the flight so I’d have to pay an additional £170 along with £20 each when we got to the hotel. Also said there will be no public transport available due to the time we are supposed to be arriving so we would have to pay an additional £80 to get to our hotel. Rang to try and cancel and they are nothing but rude! The man I spoke to on the phone just happens to be the “manager” when I rang to ask to speak to the person in charge.
