Camptoo offer a very good service. The platform is very easy to use and well marketed. I've consistently benefitted from a stream of hirers each season over the two and half years I've used the service. And van there is occasional damage they are good at reasonably resolving the issues with all parties.

Hired a motor home August Bank Holiday for my parents. Excellent service with no issues. Met James and he was so helpful along with his wife. Showing me everything I need to know. My parents had an amazing weekend at the reunion party in the middle of a field with the best weather we could have hoped for. Motorhome was immaculately clean and very nice. Will definitely recommend Camptoo.

It was easy enough to identify the vehicle and location, but once held as a reservation, the app does not allow you to contact the third party owner . Which is a real pain if you have subsequent questions. Then there is the insurance plethora of documentation that needs to be completed, identification checks that need scanning and uploading, other than that the chap renting was amazing 👏

I have made a booking, funds was paid over, I have loaded my licence, I have messaged the owner of the van. Great was my surprise when Camptoo send me a cancellation only 2 weeks before my trip, as they say I have a Pakistan drivers licence. I am a South African and that was the licence I have send to them. I have accepted the cancellation. They said they will pay back the money. But why, its absolutely rediculous, and very bad to cancel without a call or an email exploring or giving me a chance to correct the situation. I have phoned them to explain, but received a cold ahoulder. Thats how it is.

If you want to constantly chase a company for payment after they have sent their customers out in your motorhomes then this is the one for you. Customer Service is horrendous, you will get lie after lie. The process for a damage claim is the same, they sell their customers a RentalCover policy (read their reviews I'm not sure who is worse Camptoo or RentalCover) RentalCover take an age to payout and you will be expected to foot the bill until this happens. I had 2 claims and both claims followed the same path. Thankfully I'm rid of this horrendous company now but my advice to others thinking of allowing Camptoo to hire out your vehicle is to think again, they have no shame and I'm sure it won't be long until they've disappeared into insolvency.

It might be good for renters but it's HELL for owners. Reading through the reviews I noticed I'm not the only one whos payments are late! I have to chase every.single.one... and now it looks like they no longer do customer service, only emails! Unbelievable... I'll tell all my new renters to go and book through Goboony...

This company does not pay out to the renters as promised in the agreement. All bookings are paid on time to Camptoo by the renters but over half of my payments due from Camptoo to me are late, in fact one payment I had to chase and it took nearly 4 weeks for me to receive it! They says it can take 1 - 5 days to receive payments and payments are sent the day after the camper is taken, so when I say the payments are late, they are taking 7 days or more to come, and only arrive through chasing them. Then to top it off the customer service via email is appalling.

I’m an owner of a camper listed on this website, although it seems great from a consumer’s perspective, it’s quite the opposite for an owner. I have had to chase every booking payment to be made by this company. It states 3-5 working days for funds to clear automatically from when a rental period starts…Currently I have been waiting 3 weeks to be paid for the most recent finalised rental period, customer services are now ignoring all my messages….This isn’t the first time. Customer services are next to impossible to contact, a total injust service for the people who trust this platform with their prized possessions. Pay your debts!
