TUI Holiday Store

This is not a review just about Tui Borehamwood but the whole company.
Our wedding was in August, but Maldives were on the "red list" so we waited patiently quite a while for the situation to change.
Finally! It's safer now so we booked our honeymoon on 12th January 2022.We were supposed to depart on 18th March 2022.
It is our first time using a travel agent as I love to organise our trips by myself.This time; because of the special occasion; I have decided to hand it over even though prices were very similar comparing individual bookings to agents' ones. It is supposed to be more convenient to have everything in one and in the current COVID situation.
Agents did not do a lot more than what we could do on our own with the Tui website.
On 18th Feb (so halfway through waiting) we got an e-mail saying one of our flights was cancelled.We could still go on the same dates if we would pay an extra £1500 - to basically keep what we had paid for! £1500 is actually the full price for the new tickets so what has happened with the money we paid? Who's gonna get them?  The refund was offered too, but a month after making the reservation; most of the offers sold out and the rest of them increased in price. We made our work time off arrangements as we both have a type of job when we have to do it in advance.I was certain that making a reservation with the travel agent makes us covered for those kinds of moments and it would be sorted out even without us knowing.
Dreams were crushed. It definitely should not look like that.It would be better to do it without the agent.

Tui forced this store on me when I couldn't book online meaning everything is done over the phone. Before they know who I am they are saying tui doesn't do that anymore. The staff are abrupt and don't want to help. Most of their advise is wait and see. Going on holiday is stressful enough without unhelpful staff.

Amazing staff, very friendly girls. Always so helpful with any issues I have encountered and quick to resolve. Had great holidays with them for over 20 years. Highly recommended ✅

Had a great experience in this branch! Lisa and Debbie were just so helpful and enthusiastic, it seemed like they had both visited pretty much every resort and Country personally which was so helpful as they could give us in life experience that you don't get online! We will only ever book from here going forward

Professional, polite, quality service from the staff at TUI Borehamwood. Manager Deborah Palmer was exceptional and really knew her stuff. Wouldn’t go anywhere else to book a holiday. You can’t beat the personal advice.

What a great place to book your holiday, all the ladies were so friendly and helpful, even got a nice cup of tea. Lisa who served me was so helpful, she really knows her stuff.
