Great tour company. We booked 3 tours with Cruising Excursions. They promptly met our ship and had very knowledgeable tour guides. Well worth the money at a fraction of the price that Princess Cruises was charging for virtually the same tours. We used them in Glasgow, Invergordon and Edinburgh. Buy the tickets for the castles with them and save time in the queue.

This is a terrible company, big mistake by booking with them, almost ruined our holiday! We have missed our first tour with them in Kotor due to tender service delay, I called the company's emergency number to advise them we might be 15 minutes late and I was told that the tour cant wait for the 4 of us and they will provide a refund! I called after my holiday on their Australia toll free number and spoke to customer service. I was told to email customer support for refund. The customer email came back as they didn't receive my phone call on the day and they will not provide a refund?? Also mentioned that they do not have an office in Australia?? they have advised that they do not offer refund for tender delay, so if anyone is cruising with tender at a port my suggestion is to avoid this company as they do not wait for you and you will not get your money back! From my understanding, tender delay happens a lot could be due to weather or port authority clearance and that's what happened to us. If they don't provide refund and cant even wait for 15 minutes for their customers i don't see a point booking with them if my cruise ship is tendering at a port, high chances of missing the tour and not getting my money back, and the most disgusting is how they promise a refund when you called and then they refuse to admit what they have said! Our second booking with this company was also a disaster! our tour only starts 1.30 hours after our ship arrival, and we almost missed our ship departure time. The tour bus only get back to the port 10 minutes before ship departure, everyone was so panic while we were waiting for the bus to come back and pick up us from the old town. We waited almost an hour under the sun for the bus and almost missed the ship departure! All of us have to run to the ship when the bus stopped at the cruise terminal. some of the members in our group was 60-70 years old and have to run! awful experience with this company all together!

We booked 3 tours...2 were excellent ...3rd at St Maarten great day on the beech ..but ended up getting our own taxi back to the ship...hence 3 stars...

Do not use a company called Venture Ashore. Booked 4 trips on recent Caribbean cruise. 2 trips no sign of rep at all. Only 1 trip was satisfactory. They’re ignoring my requests for compensation. Abysmal service
