TUI Holiday Store

I booked my trip to Australia at Tui in Woking.Being somewhat useless at anything in line- Lewis was more than tolerant of my incessant questions.He has sorted my trip out and obtained the best deal for me.So- big thank you.

We have just booked our honeymoon to Bali with Nicki at TUI. We are absolutely over the moon! Everything from beginning to end was amazing- Nicki listened to us, was attentive, caring and kind. We have spent over 3 hours in the store today looking at different locations, flights and accommodations- not once did we feel rushed by Nicki or pressured to make a decision.

We came in not even knowing where we wanted to go for our honeymoon, and we’ve left with the holiday of our dreams!

He understood the surprise value for our parents and not only arranged the same dates, but better flights and at cheaper by 20% price. He took extra time to phone my parents and we had a lot of laughs throughout the booking. Lewis is your old school, happy, funny, upbeat, proffesional, courteous and knowledgeable high street travel agent.

Yesterday an elderly man was trying to sort out his ‘Passenger Locator Form’ for his upcoming trip to Ireland. He couldn’t do this on his laptop and thought it was ‘broken’ and trundled off to Woking library to use their computer. Unsuccessful & now feeling dejected and a bit depressed, he was walking past this TUI store and decided to pop in. As he didn’t book his flight via TUI they couldn’t really help - which he understood. On his way out, one of the team asked him to come back and she and her colleague went onto the computer and offered to help. They soon realised he was trying to do this too early. They explained he can’t do this until the day before his flight. These two staff asked him to pop back on Monday and offered to help again.

First, they did not need to offer this help. Second, at a time of relentless sales targets in a tough business they could have just taken the easy option. Third, this is a very rare occurrence these days. People are so busy and worried about the virus etc that it’s sometimes difficult for us to consider others the way these two did. They did not ask for any thing in return. Just two genuinely good people with good hearts.

And finally, this old man is our father and grandfather and we are really excited about all getting together this year after 3 years and many thousands of miles apart!

Thank you so much to whoever these ladies are. It’s so uplifting to see this kindness - especially at this time of year.
