Highly recommended. We’ve booked many holidays with Traveller's World and have always found their professionalism and knowledge second to none. I doubt there are many other travel agents who can boast the first hand knowledge of so many locations. Our ever changing requirements are listened to patiently and interpreted perfectly with options and alternatives suggested. They are also not afraid to come up with ideas “outside of the box” to challenge our own views.

Avoid like the plague.

Wanted to discuss honeymoon options and they came back with a B&B in the middle of a city in Cape Verde.
I immediately sent them all the links to several 5* resorts I had found myself, only to be greeted with “that’s the best we could find for your budget” and “that includes us sorting out all your paperwork and insurance”.

I booked the honeymoon myself directly at the 5* resort.

They’re not interested in putting in any effort to help you, just happy to do the absolute minimum and take your money.

Please, take the time to book yourself or go with a standard operator like TUI etc.

Even during this difficult time nothing is ever too much for this amazing staff with so much experience and enthusiasm for joining families together or exploring the world. If its possible they can make it happen. 40 years strong

My wife and I have just returned from a wonderful safari holiday in Kenya, arranged by Paul Hinton at Travellers World in Salisbury. Paul provided an outstanding level of service, all the way from creating and booking the perfect package for us, through to obtaining our boarding passes the day before we flew out. He advised us on travel insurance, obtained our visas, kept us up to date with changes as a result of staff shortages with BA, re-booked our outward flight when the scheduled flight was cancelled, and advised us on vaccines, nearly all without our asking. In short, Paul looked after us at every step. Absolutely brilliant.

Absolutely outrageous. I would recommend that no one ever books with this company, that’s how bad they were. I don’t even know where to start with all the things that happened. The person we were dealing with couldn’t got much worse. He seemed to think it was ok to not send us confirmation of our holiday. 4 months after we booked. I had to prompt him to send confirmation. What kind of travel agent does that? He seemed to think it was ok to just let us turn up to our wedding without telling us what paperwork we needed to get married abroad. He just ignored the information. He was sent by “planet holidays” which was all the information on the paperwork. 4 months before our wedding I had a gut instinct something wasn’t quite right, so I contacted “planet holidays” directly to ask if there was anything legally to get married abroad. She was disgusted that “travellers world” had ignored all the information she had sent “them. she sent everything to “travellers world” in November 2021, but by March, I still hadn’t received anything from “travellers world. The person we dealt with couldn’t even get the personal details off of our passport correctly when booking the holiday. We had to tell him twice to get him to correct it. When we went to check in for our flights, we found out that the seats he told us he booked, weren’t the seats we actually had. He claims it’s the airlines fault, but I contacted the airline and it was nothing to do with them. He booked extra hand luggage on the outbound flight, but not on the inbound flight. How much worse can the whole thing get. I’m surprised the holiday even went ahead. Thank god for “planet holidays” being so good. Travellers world so nearly ruined our wedding. So just some advice, never book a holiday through “travellers world”

My wife and popped in to buy an air ticket for her to go to South Africa. I know it was a very hot day but when we entered the office no one sort of gesticulated to come to their station. We were just stared at. So we chose a gent who barely smiled and the presentation was dry and a bit strained in my opinion. I was confused why a travel agent would be more expensive than online when agents shoukd get discounts. The only reason we bought the ticket is that I don't like the faceless world of online buying. There was no guidance on insurance and covid without me first having to ask about those two subjects. I left feeling deflated to be honest but insurance went there based on other reviews but insurance doubt insurance will go there again.

Staffs are very friendly and more helpful than some of the more well known.

10 years later I'm still livid. Ruined Our Honeymoon. AVOID!
Asked for Quiet rustic Warm Retreat. They gave us a monstrosity of a hotel in the most expensive part of Europe. that tried to charge us 10E to have water with our meals. The hotel was full of very loud children due to SKY Sports filming a Junior championship on-site.
Travelers world Sold us the Holiday that they needed to sell us, Not the Holiday that we had ASKED For. They made no apologies.
