TUI Holiday Store

Absolutely awful experience. Trying to book a quiet holiday somewhere luxurious for me and 10 friends and never been so stressed. For 2 weeks i have been trying to pay but thompsons NEVER return my calls. The manager (a man with absolutely no phone manners what so ever) even told me if im waiting on head office for confirmation i shouldnt hold my breath and probably best to go to another travel agents! Shocking! Thats 11 customers lost along with very bad word of mouth advertising.

I can not praise Darren highly enough.
His professionalism, customer service and 20 years experience in the industry really did shine through yesterday.
We spent two hours with him, having to change part our holiday and he really listened to what we wanted and got us what we wanted (which we know isn’t always possible) so thank you, thank you, thank you for everything. A great ambassador for the Tui brand and indeed the Taunton branch.
Kevin and Natalie, please keep Darren in Taunton, he is by far the best advisor we have ever dealt with in Taunton and he is an asset to have in your team.

Booked an expensive cruise with this shop over the telephone. On top of this spent hundreds of pounds on tui excursions. We recently decided to upgrade a cabin at an agreed cost only hours later for them to ring back saying they had made an error and wanted an extra £200.00 for premium drinks or the cabin. We already had paid for premium drinks so shouldnt be asking for £200.00 for drinks again. tui error but wouldnt honour us for their mistake and to top it all as we chose to go back to our original cabin rather than pay more we are penalised again now having to make a special journey 10 miles away to have the refund put back on our card! Shambles

I've ran into a very sad unfortunate situation where I'm going to need to speak to them and im hoping they can help me, when i booked my holiday they were amazing, so lets see what they can do to help me and where i stand and i will obviously remove this review and write one accordingly.

Me and my partner went into store this last week to book a long over due holiday. We were seen by a lovely lady Abi. She was brilliant, listened and understood what we were looking for and was able to efficiently find a holiday perfect for us, reiterating what we had suggested as she was taking us through the details, showing interest and insight to what we were looking for. Abi conducted herself with maturity, honesty, and still allowed for humour which made us feel at ease and was even more welcoming. If I were to book another holiday I would definitely look for her again in store, she was an asset to the team and will go far within the industry. I cannot thank her enough.

*WOW*..... what can we say? An exceptional experience at this Taunton based branch for starters.
Excellent customer service served by the lovely lady in the Bureau de change offering us hot drinks whilst we waited to be seen on an extremely popular Saturday lunchtime.
Tyler took time to understand all of our individual needs and requirements. He was exceptionally patient and provided us with a range of holidays, and his level of detail and service was absolutely commendable. He was able to offer us the best holiday within our budget and we can not thank him enough.
5* PLUS service!! We would give him marks of 20 out of 10
