I went into Virgin holidays in Exeter today after having a good experience with the store previously. Today’s experience was horrific. I was looking at making a new booking for several thousand of pounds. When I walked in I spoke to a blonde lady called Sarah first spoke to me and from my first comments she was more interested in sending me away to book online. I then said I wanted to book in store today, which I would have thought would have been a very positive sales signal. She then said she had computer problems and I said ok I would come back in a while to see if she could book my holiday. I walked out of the shop and sat directly outside the shop in next (In hearing distance) whilst I wrote some emails etc. I was then horrified and disgusted to hear Sarah slag me off to her colleague Kate (thinking I had left the store and couldn’t hear her) saying I wanted to book in store vs online and that I was a douche bag. They then were mucking around in store on there own with no customers laughing and joking. Well if this is how they treat high level holiday customers then I’m not surprised they were empty. The manager who was pregnant last year when I saw her was amazing compared to this appalling visit. Safe to say I will be booking my holiday elsewhere and also sharing my experience with virgin holidays customer experience Director.

We haven't used their services recently, but last time we booked a holiday through them they were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable so we will be booking with them again when we feel the need to fly away into the sunset!
