Sport Lived

Had the time of my life with sport lived!

Sport Lived is a great programme, especially for those looking to gain independence but also have the time to go out, in my case, and explore Australia! Kathy, Jessie and Elaine were instrumental in their part of making my programme an easy experience! I highly recommend any young sportsperson looking to play abroad to look at Sport Lived first!

Sport Lived was one of the best choices I made. The staff have been nothing but helpful from the get go as they help you stand on your feet quickly and smoothly. Jessie helped us adjust to our clubs, which turned out to be the best club in Melbourne for me, Toorak Prahan CC.
Kathy was amazing at organising a variety of events that always exceeded my expectations. Melbourne always has some event going on and she made sure we never missed out. Everything was organised smoothly and always had her on side to help even more.
The group bonds really well and Quest was a more than comfortable place to stay with again some the greatest people who run it who also live on site (it makes it a very homely environment).
Overall I recommend doing a programme with them because I’ll be grateful forever that I did it.

All in all, I have enjoyed the sport lived experiance here in Melbourne. Jessie and Kathy are extremely helpful with everything you need assistance with. Alongside that, the social events that are organised and put on by Kathy are a lot of fun such as the surf trip and going to Ballarat Wildlife Park. Jessie is very useful with showing and setting up a club that suits you best in my case, Parkville District CC. I highly recommend the sport lived experiance to any one who is considering this option

Sport lived provided me with a fantastic experience which also allowed me to play the sport I love. Not only that but they helped me set up a fantastic support base in a city where I knew nobody. I’ll never lose contact with the friends I’ve made during my time away and I will remember all the events (e.g. Australian open, Formula 1, Boxing Day test, Melbourne cup) that they have organised for me to see. All in all, a fantastic experience which I’d recommend to many.

It's a great programme with plenty of opportunities to both work and play in your chosen sport. Jessie and Kathy are easy to get hold of and theres plenty of social events with all of the different programme members.

Despite only being on the program for 2 weeks I’ve had a really great experience.
