Awful workmanship. Up to 2' use of silicone in areas to disguise poor cuts. Racking fell apart. Some of which was unusable from the off due to wrongly sized cuts. Random drilled holes due to errors they made. Hand painted edges. The owner surprisingly felt this was satisfactory workmanship for a £3400 price tag. I was charged for items I had specifically asked to be removed from the coasting several times. I even sent a scanned document clearly marking out the items i wanted removed with a permanent marker but they still went ahead and installed them and had the audacity to charge for the service.

The owner refused to compensate because of his terms and conditions. For some bizarre reason he wouldn't reason with the fact the work was appalling and we were a paying customer and it's just common customer service and nothing to do with terms. They were happy to short change me and keep the money I paid for a service in good faith despite so many issues.

Using Advantec crippled me financially due to the own going errors and time frame they had the van. I do not consider this company to be genuine, hence my review. Feel free to contact me should you want any further supporting documentation. Also happy to show you the van that they are proud to represent their business. The images should help illustrate the quality of the workmanship though, but be warned their customer service is even worse should you run into difficulties and try to communicate with them on any sensible level.

The company even had the nerve to damage one of our vans and try to disguise it with stickers. For a number fo reason I consider this company to be fraudulent.

Tread very carefully.

I have used Advantec for several years they have been brilliant to deal with and refreshingly friendly and flexible. I will always call on Chris and his team for all my van racking, roof racking, roof vents, beacons, ply lining etc.

Chris is extremely knowledgeable and professional. Fitted a flettner roof vent, stress and trouble free and fitted it again at very short notice after I broke it in a low car park. A more genuinely helpful bespoke custom part professional I have yet to meet. Thank you.

After calling to book in a van for interior lining, finally receiving a booking several weeks later, then at the point of booking having to chase the booking to then be told that they were too busy. So several weeks of waiting and inconvenience. The elderly citizen on the phone was totally incompetent with bookings and correspondence. I would highly suggest that is a booking is for any reason unavailable then letting the customer know the details. As no correspondence was present. I would not recommend this business.
