Yellow Van Man - Nick

I use Nick and his yellow van man team every time and I can’t recommend them highly enough. They provide excellent service with a cheery smile and go above and beyond the call of duty. They’re very professional guys and turn up when they say they will. Good competitive rates as well.

Booked for 9.30 arrived 10.30 even though we txt Nick the night before confirming the time. When we rang at 9.40 we were told that Nick hadn’t informed the driver of the change of time as he was on holiday. 24 mile round trip and the whole job only took 90 min. We were told between £150-£170 and after being late I thought they would give us a discount but I was wrong as Howard wasn’t interested. I will definitely look elsewhere next time to find a company who turn up on time and if they are late apologise and give a discount. Overall expensive & unreliable.

We had the Yellow Van Man round to clear out rubbish and old furniture after a house move. Nick and his assistant were extremely helpful and did their work quickly, professionally and cheerfully. Highly recommended!

Fantastic service, fast, reliable and professional. Second time we have used them, and both times were top notch. Very satisfied with the outcome. Honest to a fault, a ring that I had lost years ago had been found during the first clearance, I would not have known and was overjoyed to find it left on the window for me. Would recommend to anyone.

Nick and his colleague were outstanding, professional, attentive and really cared about providing a quality service. They literally took a huge weight of my shoulders:

I was remotely organising a house clearance on behalf of my elderly, hearing-impaired step-father following the death of my mother as I had been shocked to learn that he'd been taken advantage of by several removals companies who had failed to ask the right questions or establish mutual understanding of the job prior to visiting the property.

This resulted in 2 companies performing a removal job a third doing moving the plumbed appliances and 1 of the original removals quoting to dispose of unwanted items a week later (which they should have done on the first job!).

My step-father in his panic to finish clearing the property had separately booked in a fourth company for a inflated agreed fee of £400 that was still subject to "seeing what's there" and he could be charged more if needed!

As £910 had already been spent I was livid, thankfully I found Nick online and after asking the neighbours (one gave a glowing report) I decided to give him a call. I found Nick very understanding of the situation and I could sense his frustration at what had happened, I sent him pictures of what we needed shifting - several large furniture items and general waste in bags - and he quoted £200 as he thought it could be done in an hour.

Upon arrival we renegotiated to £250 as the units were slightly weightier than expected, I thought that was fair and reasonable especially as the job ended up taking 1:15. They left with a van full to the brim and a very happy customer.

DON'T GO ANYWHERE ELSE UNTIL YOU'VE CALLED NICK!

Spoke with Nick regarding a house move. Family in North Wales were requiring short notice help, and we were all desperately phoning around to see what was available. We came across Yellow Van Man, and Nicks customer service was brilliant! Taking time to understand what the move was and even trying to squeeze in a home visit despite the late notice.

In the meantime, family had managed to sort something else, meaning we didn't go ahead, however based on Customer Service I'm sure the service received would've been as good!

Work for a coach company and was visiting Conwy North Wales with 2 hours notice nick managed to sort out moving 60 cases from coach up to youth hostel and return them the following Monday Howard was fantastic a very professional company and a good price thabkyou once again

I've had cause to use Nick and his team twice now. Nick is very responsive to messages and queries. His team have always arrived promptly and have got the job done in a professional and speedy manner. They are excellent value for money and I could not recommend them enough.
