A very badly organized and equipped haulage firm would be the best way too describe JH Willis. The fleet of trucks they have are absolutely awful, very poorly maintained and dated. No refrigerator's in any of the tramping units which is a legal requirement by the EU.The units are constantly filthy and complemented with a strong odour of cigarette smoke.The tankers they have are also in a disgraceful state, some of the lights work, some don't, leaking milk, full of rust and the odd hole here and there through years of wear and tear!!! If you want my advice, steer clear of them!!!
If your married and have children say goodbye to any family time, you work Bank Holidays and also Christmas Day!!Very poor on the job training delivered on the induction day by an individual who's not qualified to do the job, has never done the job as they don't hold the relevant licence Classes in HGV( farcical really).The worst part of working for this company is the management and some of the office staff, they simple have no clue what there doing and nor do they care!!!!! All the best if applying, you'll need it with this lot!!!
