Great upbeat vibe on a Friday night but if you are looking for a more chill quieter vibe, mid week is a great choice.
We were sat in the front of the restaurant in the conservatory, and it was a warm sunny October weekend so it was quite warm, but bright and pleasant all the same.
There were 5 of us and we had one of the mixed sharing platters which was very nice and plenty for four, and I had the Sucuk Sausage... Really good! If you like Merguez it's like that but fatter and made of beef. So good in fact, I've since bought my own for home.
Mains were shish, chicken, lamb, beef, mixed etc served with rice, curly fries optional (who can resist?) etc.
We had 2 baklava, which we expected to consist of a few small bitesize pieces but were in fact 2 small pizza slice sized pieces (so good) that had loads of pistachios and so sweet... With vanilla ice cream. We also had some Turkish coffee that my wife swirled around and discovered to her cost why you should never do that to Turkish coffee. It was served in very ornate cups.
Good value for money with a bottle of wine and some soft drinks thrown in. We enjoyed ourselves.
Worth a visit.
