Nehir Restaurant

Lovely Turkish restaurant in Enfield town. We went on a weekday so wasn't too busy. The service was quick and the food was tasty. We ordered a platter for £49.99 which can feed 6-7 people. Very reasonable price comparison to other Turkish restaurants.

We had lunch here, we were surprised that it was very busy.
The food was great, could not fault it, the bread was soft & fresh. The meats were perfectly cooked & seasoned, very generous portions.
When we finished our meal, the waiter offered us free Turkish Tea & little Turkish sweets.
This place deserves a revisit.

Nice restaurant with a nice selection of meats could offer a bit more for the price but generally happy with the food

Ordered for the last time, very disappointed, use to regularly get takeout, gave the new guys a second chance after a mediocre wrap a couple of weeks ago, only to regret it.

Food today over cooked/burned.

Nehir is one of my favourite restaurants in Enfield.
It’s a humble place but has excellent service with smiling faces.
Also especially food is extra tasty if you compare with others.
My favourite is soups.

Halal but they sell alcohol also , parking is a bit tricky staff were polite and friendly . Meats tasted quite nice and was filling . Breads tasted old and reheated . Side sauces are no were near as good as what you would get everywhere else and to be honest , i Don’t think it was worth the £29 we paid for . We had ordered the special 1 ( mixed grill) .. price wise i think it should be in the range of £24-£25 no more so yeah they over priced that. Honestly i mean if you want ok food that isn’t either here or there then by all means but if you want good food then this isn’t your spot ..

Really wasn't impressed with this place. Ordered 2 burger meals (1 Chicken Burger and 1 Beef Burger) for my daughters and they were okay but buns could have been cooked at least a little as they were soggy and beef burger was way over done and quite tough.

The worst part was my meal, ordered chicken/lamb sish meal and the picture you can see attached says it all, literally 2 small cubes of lamb and 3 cubes of chicken, terrible portion size.

They did give some bread and some hummus and Tzatziki as a starter (as expected in a Turkish restaurant) but generally was so dissapointed with the portion size and also the quality was average. Waitress was very helpful and polite however.

They have redecorated their restaurant and MENU. They do live music so they raised all their meal prices. They have removed all sharing platter. We were there at 7pm and were told there is no other menus. Does that mean families can’t order sharing platter anymore? I’m very sure that they are going to lose all their regular customers. It’s a restaurant! not a bar!
