Bestgrade Education - Tuition Centre

I was sending my children for tuition for over two years now. I have seen good progress from their tutors as they do intensive teaching towards 11 Plus exams. They used to called Crown Tuition before, Now they have changed the brand and moved to a better location with parking.

Art and Creative Learning classes conducted during half-terms are very useful and kids love them..

We are able to provide guidance to private candidates on a full range of examination services at GCSE, IGCSE and GCE A Level qualifications. We can help register for examinations with AQA, Edexcel, OCR, or WJEC boards with an approved examination centre. In addition we offer guidance on AEA and STEP Mathemetics exams as well as a range of University Entrance Examinations such as BMAT, ELAT, TSA, HAT, MAT, PAT, OLAT and MLAT.

Really friendly admin team whilst I was applying as an external exam student. Reasonable prices. I didn't end up taking my exam here..they issued the refund very quickly which I was very happy to see. Would recommend

Excellent tuition centre. One of the best in the area. Well managed. Parents get progress test reports every time. Great teachers who are helping children to improve in Maths and English.

Bestgrade education has changed our life since my son begin to study there year ago. It is just what parents are looking for their child. A place of security, warmth and educational success. I am thankful to Chris and the all staff who made my son's transition from primary to secondary a wonderful journey... thank you

Chris, the guy running the place does not seem to understand that he is running an education centre instead he is stuck in restaurant mode and it try to make deals like in the street market.
The treatment is very poor and the manners are also really poor.
Check before doing anything with these people.
They are very professionals to take your money but not to deliver for what they charged you.
I paid for my teen english A levels just to find out 4 months later when it was too late that they were not able to mark the course work.
Extremely unprofessional the centre told me to speak with the exam officer because they were not responsible for that...
Is better to pay a bit more to a reputable centre and avoid issues.
To get the money back is another deal.
Many emails asking if you are sure to cancel.
They will isssue the cancellation and call you back to make another deal. They will try to hold the money as much as they can.
But the worst is that they will not deliver what they agreed and they will also blame the under age student.
They will also email your under age child to take desicions such as cancellations or legal matters.
I have logged all emails from these people and I can share it so nobody else get in problems with these scammers.

Try KPS (kensington park school)
proper school/centre where you will pay more but you will not end up with a massive problem.
Once you submit the payment there is nothing else to talk they will guide your child alone the whole process and examinations.

Due to having corona like symptoms i was unavailable to enter the exam. I have messaged them to fill in extreme circumstances form to get the exam rearranged to the next available date and they refused to help me. All they will say is no refund as it states in T&C’s, but i didn't want refund i just want rearrangement.

I do not recommend this place, it is very poor and unhelpful!

I was not happy with my experience at all, had my level 2 English exam on 20 of July in Forest Gate.
1. Applied for computer based , received confirmation email few days before exam , saying that its paper based , called them up to ask why and they explained to me that due to Covid 19, everyone will have it on the paper... I said ok, if everyone have it that way , so will I , arrived for my exam , 2 other girls that were there , had it on computer... so I was just lied to for now reason.
2. Terrible atmosphere- I was brought to ground floor and sat at the table (that wasn't cleaned at all) , packing from chocolate that someone left there was still on the chair next to me , clearly nobody bothered to clean desk, chair after each student ( UNDER COVID PANDEMIC) , plus while my exam was going ,there were kids running around and shouting upstairs.. could not concentrate properly.
3. I received an email that my results are ready , I had an option to collect or to pay for postage to get my certificate- paid £10.00 to an account they provided , waited about 3 weeks , still did not receive my certificate, so I called them up, after speaking to them , they said they would investigate and get back to me , so I waited , for a week , still nothing, called them back again second time.
Now I have my certificate and I have passed , due to my knowledge, but I would not recommend them at all .... not worth your money , there are so many others test centres out there ,that actually care for their students.......
