Kumon Maths & English

My son has been going to Kumon for over a year. I see a huge difference in his work. His maths has really improved and his English is excellent, even the way he speaks and the words he uses are very impressive. Mrs Sheikh takes a personal interest in each child and is extremely supportive to the students and the parents. Sometimes I struggle with my son and I have talked to Mrs Sheikh she has spoken to my son for five minutes and like magic he’s back on track. I would highly recommend this branch.

My Son is studying Maths and English with Mrs Sheikh for over a year now, before starting kumon he used to hate maths, but now he enjoys doing it and improved quite a lot. He is very confident and determined in both Maths and English. It would not have been possible without Mrs Sheikh and her team.
Mrs sheikh is an absolute Fantastic Teacher and at the same time very humble and lovely person. She knows how to encourage and motivate Children.

Highly recommend Mrs Sheikh in Wimbledon for Kumon Maths. My daughter's 'foundation maths' in the earlier years were neglected (immigrating, different school systems and ASD). Kumon slowly started cementing this foundation. It also taught her resilience and discipline. The biggest reward was when we compared Day 1 vs Month 5 and saw the immense progress. It takes dedication for both student and parent. Be committed and you will see the reward. Best decision we have made for our daughter. Thank you Mrs Sheikh.

Misbah is very approachable and always on hand to answer questions. My son is very happy to listen to her and she has helped his concentration and focus improve a lot. Many thanks.

Misbah is a great Instructor and really helped my daughter who was struggling with maths in school to catch up and even go beyond what the curriculum required. She assessed my daughter and found an individual starting point for her, that helped her re-build a strong foundation and fill in the gaps she had. She continued to re-adjust the work set on a weekly basis based on what my daughter's needs. The centre in general are very well run and the staff couldn't be more professional and friendly

We started our Son at Kumon Merton Park when he was in Year 2 and he has attended for 3 years now. The improvement in his Maths, has been fantastic. He is now more confident - especially with mental arithmetic. Before starting with Mrs Sheikh, he was a little anxious with his Maths. Mrs Sheikh started him on the basics - patiently built up his confidence, and now he's doing the kind of complex Maths his parents struggle with! Its a fantastic team at Kumon Merton Park, and a massive thank you to Mrs Sheikh!

AMAZING centre to build the foundation for Mathematics and English . We started kumon with our little boy at the age of 3 and he has simply excelled. Mrs Sheikh her team have provided excellent service that can not be faulted. The skills and understanding she has Instilled in my child has helped him achieve way above his target level. He understands processes in maths and his vocabulary in English has progressed significantly.. We would highly recommend Mrs sheikh and her team. Its money worth spending as we as parents and the school are seeing the benefits.

UPDATED: Mrs Sheikh has put in excellent effort to continue to provide support for my children throughout the pandemic (and multiple lockdowns). The online provisioning is perfectly fine for us and it helps keep my children engaged in learning at a reasonable (individually set) pace.

I have 2 children at this Kumon centre and both have found it very fun and have seen significant improvements in their Maths and English (their words and my observations). I find Mrs Sheikh very enthusiastic in helping and encouraging my children, focusing first on their foundations before helping them advance to the next levels.

I have no doubt Mrs Sheikh takes pride in helping develop successful and confident children of all abilities and I am happy to have sent my kids there. The centre is well run with helpful staff - Highly recommended.
