Mathnasium of Clapham

We joined Mathnasium when my daughter was struggling with school maths exams. From the moment we walked in we felt we were in safe hands. The assessment process was simple and quickly identified areas that needed work. Registration was no hassle at all.
The concept is very clever because the process goes back as far as is needed to plug any gaps in confidence and/or knowledge. The lessons are fun and my daughter is always happy to attend - no mean feat!
Regular attendance has meant that, over months, my daughter's confidence and enjoyment of maths has steadily grown, and culminated in a solid foundation of knowledge which has led to 11+ success.
John, Fiona and all the staff take a real personal interest in the students and have been a massive support to all of us through a very difficult process.
If you are thinking about it, I would definitely recommend getting started sooner rather than later because the results do not happen overnight, but they certainly do happen over the course of several months.
I happily, highly recommend Mathnasium Clapham if your child is struggling with maths.

My both girls really enjoy and eager to come into the centre each time. My 9 year old has improved so much with her math and even tells me how proud she feels at school when she is familiar with the new math topic at school because they just covered it at Mathnasium. And this comes from the girl who thought she hated math a year ago.
My five year old Daughter surprised me with figuring out how to add 2 digit numbers by using her knowledge of number bonds. She picked it rather fast at the centre.
Tutors are very helpful and friendly also reward system for kids is great!

My son loves going to Mathnasium. I have seen his confidence grow exponentially. The one-to-one attention from the qualified instructors and bespoke maths programme are fantastic. This is not about memorisation or repetitive drills. This is about making numbers make sense and helping children with their problem solving skills, so they can solve anything.

We just popped in to enquire about our son joining and were greeted really well, everything was easily and clearly explained to us and we felt no pressure. We signed up and now we are seeing the results, my son has really benefited from this tuition and is now enjoying maths to the fullest

I have been really impressed by your method and ethos, your people are excellent and engaging, the consistency across different instructors allows for a remarkable continuity of service and my daughter always looks forward to spending time learning.

Ultimately, what really mattered to me the most (apart from actual progress) was to see her ear-to-ear smile beaming across the room at drop off or pick up time.

We recently relocated from the United States, where the curriculum, measurement system and currency are different from the UK. Mathnasium has tremendously helped our son fill the gaps and learn more! The instructors are very patient and teach very well!! Thank you so much!

Our daughter has been going to mathnesium for a year now. She loves it! Great teachers, effective methods. My daughter is now very confident at maths. Fiona is a lovely manager, very helpful and flexible.

Our daughter has just finished a 6 month stint with Mathnasium, going twice a week. First and foremost her maths ability, but moreover her confidence, has dramatically improved, and this has been reflected in her marks at school. However this would have been much harder had it not been from the welcoming and encouraging Fiona and her team of dedicated young teachers. Without the pressures that is perhaps felt in the school classroom, and the unique methods taught here, our daughter was quickly brought up to a good level of attainment back at school. Furthermore she was encouraged to keep heading back to earn points on her scorecard, and eventually earn herself a Fitbit. We wouldn't hesitate to return if needed to in the future.
