Kumon Maths & English

My son was placed on the SEN register as he was struggling with his Maths and English so much. He started Kumon roughly 2 years ago and is now getting 80% in his school assessments. A few days ago he told me he was doing Algebra in school, I asked him how he got on and he said ‘yes, was good fun’ - says it all really! I also started my daughter on the programme because the results for my son have been so amazing. I would highly recommend Kumon to absolutely everyone. I only wish it was a compulsory in the curriculum so every child had the chance to benefit. Mrs Alasi is fabulous, wonderfully passionate about education and a terrific motivator to our children. We joined Kumon nearly 2 years ago, and I cannot believe how much my son has progressed in english and maths, it has helped him to progress much higher in school to compare how he was struggling in both subjects before starting Kumon.
Mrs Alasi is a brilliant tutor and well organised.

Our kids have been going to Upminster Kumon center for a few years now. They have progressed considerably in class from doing Kumon. Mrs Alasi is very thoughtful and dedicated and provides guidance and motivation to the kids.

Both my children have gained so much from the kumon programme. Mrs Alasi and staff have been so supportive and it’s been great to see their progress over the years.

Our daughter in year 2 joined kumon in September where they were transitioning from hard copy to kumon connect electronically. Is taken a lot of hassle from the parent in terms of marking the hardcopy. Kumon connect is easily accessible and makes the work much more enjoyable and done at a quicker pace. Both our children 8 and 6 have benefitted from the one to one assistance they get at the kumon centre. All the staff are professional, friendly and play a good support network for the children.

Mrs Alasi is truly a very calm, collected and professional teacher. She understands each of her students individually and provides thorough feedback. My son has been attending Kumon for approximately 6 months and as parents we can see a vast improvement in his confidence with Math. Furthermore to receive positive feedback from his school regarding his development in Math just shows how Kumon really is working positively. Thank you Mrs Alasi.

I have no regrets in enrolling my daughter on the Kumon programme. It was challenging for her at the start and I was almost ready to give up until Mrs Alasi said - if things get hard, we should encourage our children to persevere, not give up - and thats when I decided to continue with the programme. I have seen great progress in my daughter's maths. She has a long way to go but I can now see confidence and determination. Thank you Mrs Alasi.

I was recommended by a family member to look at Kumon and glad that I did. I found the Kumon Center in Upminster, headed by Mrs Alasi who conducted the initial assessment with professionalism and objectivity. 4 months into the programme, the kids are thriving with a newly discovered enthusiasm for Maths and an ever increasing pace at completing their daily worksheets, closely monitored and tweaked for optimum learning by Mrs Alasi.
