Kumon Maths & English

Kumon East Sheen is a fun and friendly environment that allows students the opportunity to receive a tailored tutoring experience to support their progress in Maths and English. I worked here as a classroom assistant and not only was it a really enjoyable workplace but seeing the amazing progress students made was really rewarding! Maryam truly goes above and beyond to support each individual and she is a great communicator with both parents and staff members. I highly recommend this Kumon centre.

Kumon East Sheen is a great learning centre for extra Maths & English. My Son is doing maths and making fantastic progress. Even during this lockdown he has been able to continue with his Kumon worksheets everyday and he has attended an online class once a week. It has helped my son feel secure, as it’s one part of life that hasn’t changed. He knows what to expect and it’s part of everyday life. It definitely provides the extra maths practice that school generally doesn’t have time to provide.

Maryam and the team at Kumon East Sheen have been a huge help to my three boys over the last few years. They are all now working considerably ahead of their usual school stages and are much more confident with numbers than when they started Kumon. It is a discipline and they are not always keen to do it but Maryam is excellent at gently encouraging and helping with questions when they arrive. She was quick to move to online learning during lockdown and has continued to provide a comparable service to the normal face to face sessions. I would highly recommend Maryam.

Kumon has been a godsend for our son who was one of the youngest in the class and always struggled a little. Within months he could answer times tables questions within seconds and was much more confident with number bonds too. Maryam's support, warmth and knowledge put us all at ease, and the communication continued throughout the Covid-19 lockdown. We will always be grateful - thank you!

I’ve been doing maths at kumon for a few years at the East Sheen centre and I must say it’s been a fundamental part of achieving grade a 9 in maths GCSE. I’m now going on to study maths and further maths A-Level. I definitely would not have been able to do it without kumon!

My daughters have been doing kumon at the East Sheen centre for a few years now. My eldest finished school with 9s in Maths and English whilst my youngest is rapidly improving her Maths skills. I can only thank kumon for this!

I have been using Kumon for the past 3 years and it has contributed to a dramatic turnaround. It does require perseverance from a parent, but the support that Maryam and her team provide at the East Sheen Kumon Centre is excellent. Children get motivation with prizes (for completing milestones), annual awards for performance and class contact (video or face-2-face). I would highly recommend Kumon.

This is an excellent Kumon center. Maryam and her team are very patient and kind. We have seen an amazing improvement for our child in both math and English! Highly recommended!
