Kumon Maths & English

My daughter studied maths at Sidcup Kumon centre for approx. 3 years since she started Year 2. At Kumon, the instructor gives you appropriate amount of work to do everyday at the appropriate level of difficulty so it suits your child’s ability perfectly. My daughter enjoyed doing her Kumon work because it wasn’t hard nor lengthy. Learning from the basic addition/subtraction/multiplication/division to complex calculation, from fraction to decimal and with problem solving throughout, she gradually became more and more confident and competent academically and eventually achieved fantastic results when applying to secondary schools.

Kumon has not only built a solid foundation for her knowledge and skills, but also helped her develop a self-study routine day by day, and this self-motivational routine is invaluable as she embarks on further study in secondary school.

It’s getting increasingly tricky when choosing the best tutoring program for our kids today. I think we have made the best choice for our daughter. I’m ever so thankful to Meena, the Kumon instructor at Sidcup Centre, for all her help along the way. She’s insightful, patient, encouraging and reliable. She knows what and where the children need to learn and enhance. She also kindly gives small gifts and treats to encourage them try their best.
