Kumon Maths & English

We have been really pleased with our experience of our child attending Kumon and can see a huge improvement in her reading (and it's only been a few months!).

Lola and team are highly professional and have been good with our child.

They have been really understanding, adaptable and flexible in the circumstances.

We recently attended our first Kumon Awards Ceremony via Zoom, which was fantastic to celebrate the children and the parents. I could see that Lola and her Team put in a tremendous amount of effort to make this a really enjoyable experience for all.

Both my children have been studying Maths with Lola for several years, and their Kumon studies have given them real confidence in the subject. An exciting new development is that you can now do Kumon digitally - no more paper question sheets to lose in an untidy house! We were Lola's guinea pigs while the app was being tested, and it's made a real difference to the kids learning - and there's no more marking for me to do! The app is especially great for the more advanced levels as the teacher can replay what the student writes - this gives a surprising window into the student’s thought process so the teacher can more easily spot when something needs more explaining.

my children both were in another Kumon center and the tutor kept them on one level for 6 months, even though they were ready to move up to the next level, however, we found lower Sydenham center and met Lola, she know what she is doing and doing it EXCELLENT. She is fantastic, fair and honest in what she is doing. Very happy with her center

Thank you all for your efforts Sydenham crew! It is such an inspiration to see all the children especially so many ethnic minorities achieving greatness at such a young age. I chose the Sydenham branch because I wanted my son to have an inspirational instructor that he could identify with and you have certainly met that expectation. Lola, my son not only views you as an instructor but also like an Aunty. This creates a wonderful environment for him to learn in.

My daughter is really enjoying doing her Kumon. Jace also likes the doing the kumon on the tablet more . Me as a mother it helps me , because I don't have to mark her work anymore . With her maths being submitted automatically and mark quickly. I really found it very interesting and easy. Thanks to Lola and her team's for always helping out as well with my daughter's work.

I enrolled my daughter Sariah into Kumon Sydenham in Nov 2020. My daughter completes an assessment and Lola was able to pinpoint that my daughter was 2 years behind in her Maths (she was in Year 3 at the time).
I needed a solution fast.
From then until now, me and my daughters have developed a culture of practice in our home. This is an invaluable life skill.
Sariah will be at her expected level of learning by the end of the school term. Sariahs mental maths is the quickest it’s ever been! She even says she “loves maths”! What can I say...As a parent I am very proud of my daughter and especially grateful to Lola for her no nonsense approach to education. Now we use the Kumon app for maths and it saves us time at home, no marking and daily instant feedback. Thank you Lola

Just want to say a hug thank you to Lola for her creativity especially during the pandemic. Love the virtual award which encourage/motivate the kids during pandemic. My son always look forward to it.

My son has been busy since Pandemic started last year. He is more focus and always does his work without being reminded. He’s level in mathematics is high.

My daughter has been coming to Lola's Kumon classes coming upto 2.years now. Her understanding of written English has improved which she has boosted her confidence in school.
We can't thank Lola and her staff enough for her complete dedication to the children at her centre. The effort she puts into the award ceremonies to make each child believe in themselves and their achievements.
