Kumon Maths & English

I was recommended kumon a few years ago now for my 10 and 11 year olds and last month my 6 year old started. Their progress in maths has been phenomenal since they started with Kiran at kumon, this is very evident in their school results and reports. My eldest passed her maths SATS exam with100%. Their teachers can’t believe the speed of their timetables! I am so glad to of found this type of maths learning and would highly recommend it to any student, start as early as you can. It’s fits in well with school and family life and will be a life skill for all of my girls.

Both my son and daughter attend Kumon in Thames Ditton and they have come along leaps and bounds since starting. Kiran is great with the children and I wish I had started my son a lot earlier with his classes here.

My daughters have been attending kumon lessons with Kiran for a few years now. Their progression in maths and english has been tremendous. I will highly recommend Kiran as she constantly communicates about the childs progress with parents and helps them work to their full potential. Kiran is a highly professional, attentive, supportive Kumon instructor we have been very lucky to meet! She has helped our little daughter progress in her maths ability surprisingly fast, smooth and as a result, she can't wait each week for her class and makes huge motivated efforts to progress even faster. My eldest joined late in year 9 to support her younger sister who was struggling in maths in year 4 at the time. Since then Kumon has become a daily part of our lives and both my girls have made enormous progress both in math scores as well as interest in the subject. My eldest went from being in the second set to quickly being moved to top set and recently receiving a 9 prediction for her GCSE. She is also helping many other students in her top set and working for Kumon part time. My youngest quickly mastered her times tables and is now achieving nearly 100% on her classroom tests. She believes in her ability now and feels super confident when given new maths work in class quoting, “I’ve already learned it at Kumon so it’s so easy now!”. I’m so pleased we made this step into Kumon. Between the repetitive nature of the work which has established regular study habits, and Kiran’s constant communication with me to ensure we are getting on well at home too, this has been the best choice for my kids. I highly recommend giving it a try, regardless of what age they start.

Such a great programme and Kiran is so dedicated to the progress of the children! My daughter has gained so much confidence in maths and it has been recognised by her teachers at school! Highly recommend!
