Kumon Maths & English

My son started Kumon Maths programme back in September 2020. Kumon has definitely enhanced my child's skills. It has taught him self learning, helped build his confidence and the ability to do mental maths with out the help of a teacher or a calculator. I am happy with Meera's teaching style, the way she structures his work and identifies the areas he needs improving. I feel the way she supports him definitely has given him the boost. As a parent I am happy that Meera is committed and my son is comfortable with her and eager to learn.

My 8 year old daughter is studying here for the past 3 years . She has improved a lot in her numerical and verbal skills since joining Kumon. Meera from East Ham Kumon has been very helpful during the covid crisis. She even delivered books to our home. In addition to this, during the weekly virtual teaching sessions, she notes how my daughter is doing the worksheets and then sets the appropriate level of work for her the following month. We are happy with Kumon East ham.

I have enrolled my daughter at this Kumon centre in Burges road.

My daughter is yet to start Reception, but she is already well versed with numbers up to 100 with both reading and writing. She recently passed her first Kumon test.

The Kumon teacher is doing an Amazing job not just with her teaching skills but also her flexibility while dealing with a kid who is 4.5 yrs is really commendable.she completely understands the pros and cons of kids of similar age and is able to embrace it. I would surely recommend this centre.

My daughter has been attending Kumon for 6 years now, studying both Maths and English with Meera. Kumon and Meera have both been a blessing. My daughter has become so much more confident and stronger in both subjects and Meera is always always someone you can reach out to when a little more guidance is also needed. Highly recommended. My daughter loves both learning with Kumon and Meera. :-)

My daughter is 5 years old and she has started kumon Maths since last 4 months. I have seen a tremendous difference in her learning and it has helped her a lot in her learning in school as well. Meera has been really outstanding in her approach and ability to handle the kids patiently. Thanks to you for your support and patience to encourage the kid grow better.

My daughter has been with Kumon since September 2021. We joined because I noticed she lacked confidence in Maths. I can truly say in 10 months I have noticed a huge boost of confidence. Whereas before she avoided difficult questions she now tries her best to attempt them herself and when she struggles she is brave enough to ask for help. Meera has been fantastic in understanding her individual needs and working at the pace my daughter needs.

My daughter had improved so much in her confidence whilst on this programme. She is quicker at knowing her maths facts. During lockdown she struggled with maths and this has really helped boost her. Meera is a wonderful teacher and helps her when she is struggling. Highly recommend this programme. I’m also a primary school teacher and see the benefits of this.

My daughter started Kumon 9 months ago.  Kumon with Meera is one of the best decisions I made for my daughter. We started with English Kumon programme, thinking my daughter only needs extra work to do. As she is doing well in school. Within a few weeks into the programme we realised Kumon is a self disciplined commitment and we saw an improvement in different areas of English. Including being able to work independently.
Meera has an eye for detail, she spotted all of my daughter's mistakes (something I overlooked) and is continually doing so, this allowed her to make improvements on her handwriting, comprehension, reasoning etc. We were so pleased with the programme we began maths a few weeks into the programme, once again we saw improvements in her speed of calculation and retaining numbers in her head.
Meera has been dependable, approachable, supportive and definitely well experienced in this field. Also very helpful, whenever my daughter needed extra help she has gone out of her way to help. I highly recommend this centre to anyone who is looking for their child to excel academically. Thank you for your continuous support.
