Kumon Maths & English

My son has been attending the Canning Town Kumon centre for a couple of years. Shakeel is a great tutor, who understands the children and gives them the time and attention each child needs. I have seen a huge impact on my son’s learning behaviour and would recommend Kumon and Shakeel to anyone. I am very happy with my son’s progress and and thankful for the tuition provided by Shakeel and his team.

Both my sons have been attending this centre at Canning Town with Shakeel since January this year, I have noticed a big improvement with my sons since attending Kumon. I wished I joined them up sooner. Shakeel works great with the children and I have even noticed my eldest sons behaviour has improved. Great work :)

My daughter started Kumon with Shakeel when she was five. She improved a lot in the centre. Shakeel will observe her work and provide feedback all the time to improve her skills and to confidence. He will also notice her strengths and disadvantages and tailor-made the progress for her. Thanks!

Shakeel is an exceptional instructor he brings passion and a love of learning for teaching Kumon in the centre. His always trying to make a difference in my children's lives. I've been taking 3 children to his centre for almost 5 years. Shakeel have the ability to develop relationships with his students, he is patient, caring, and kind personality allowed my children to develop and progress in their academic skill at school and they're always been above the national standard. My daughter started Kumon when she was in year 5 and before then she struggled with maths. She could not work out simple problems mentally and she relied on using her fingers to workout simple problems of addition and subtraction. My friend told me about the program and I decided to give it a go. I contacted Shakeel and he met my daughter and I. He explained to me how the program works then assessed her to ensure she starts at a comfortable level. Since starting the program, Shakeel has been very helpful, giving feedback, assessing at each level and meeting yearly to discuss the progress. I could also contact him at any time via text or Whatsapp and his reply is almost immediate. My daughter is in year 10 now and she has made a lot of progress. She is currently in the top group. I recommend to anyone who would like to try Kumon to join the Barking Road Kumon centre at Canning Town with Shakeel. My son first joined Kumon in year 2 and his currently in year 6. We started our journey at a different centre, then we decided to change the centre so I researched few different ones. On which we opted out for Canning Town Centre. It is because Shakeel stood out of the other instructors and my son felt Shakeel's passion and dedication towards him from day one.

My son made a huge progress so far and he currently managed a place at City of London for boys after successfully passing his 11 plus exams. I must say a huge thank you also goes to Shakeel for going far and beyond Kumon requirements and supporting my son throughout his 11 plus journey. Kumon has also helped my son to work more independently and he is ahead of his class peers at school.

I also want to add the fact that the all team and staff members at Kumon Canning Town centre are very helpful and experienced and they make sure the centre runs smoothly.

We found this Kumon centre in Canning Town after a quick Google search - and we are so glad we did! From the outset, Shakeel and his staff welcomed us with an introduction session that addressed our child's needs and goals as he introduced the Kumon method. We went ahead and signed up - and the care and attention we got from Shakeel, Sanita and Clarissa was incredible. They are attentive, and they geared the teaching methods to suit the child. They were flexible with our requirements and always informed us of our child's progress along the way. All this in a friendly, very welcoming family-like atmosphere - with plenty of encouragement along the way. We would always recommend this centre.
