Kumon Maths & English

We have been at this Kumon centre for coming on one year now. The regular Maths and English practice has been very useful for my son (started at age 7, now 8), which has been especially important after gaps in regular schooling over the COVID lockdowns. His progress has already been reflected in improved school reports, and I am confident this will help to prepare him well for the future. Varun is very communicative and gives me a clear view of progress, and what I can do to support my son at home. The centre and staff are friendly and welcoming.

My son started Kumon in July 2021 when he was 5 years old.. Initially he was very reluctant in doing the worksheets but gradually he developed interest and now he willingly does his worksheets daily without fail.
Kumon built in the sense of responsibility, commitment and dedication in my son. His learning scale has also increased a lot in this one year. He used to struggle in English now he can easily read sentences and is more confident than before.
Varun is a very dedicated instructor, he is always available for guidance and makes the learning journey enjoyable for kids. He works closely with parents in improving the child's abilities. Very Happy with kumon- Redhill and would definitely recommend to friends.

We started the Kumon during lockdown so I was very anxious to how it would work as sessions were done through zoom sessions however Varun made feel at ease very quickly with our first session as he was so supportive and enthusiastic which made my daughter engage. We now look forward to our centre sessions as Varun and his young helpers are all very helpful and supportive. I have seen my daughter’s confidence in Maths and English build very quickly at school. The programme is very structured and catered for your child’s ability not age. I will be starting my son as well very soon.

My daughter (now 6) has been going to Kumon for about a year now and we definitely have seen a consistent development in her English and Maths. She always has a favourite subject (Maths or English) and this keeps changing :). The daily English and Maths practice is helping her a lot, setting a routine. This has reflected in her school reports as well. Initially, my daughter was bit reluctant to continue with Maths but Varun had a friendly chat with her and made her understand the importance. Based on her learning pace Varun has tailored her work to keep the learning momentum going. Varun always been approachable and instrumental.
