I like seeing a family run business that considers the customer doing well. Well done Beat school uniforms.
I have twins (a boy and a girl) so it was alot of time and effort put in by the staff member that's helped and advised us. Thank you.
I would highly recommend this store and love the fact we was able to book an appointment also to avoid long waits.
The staff are knowledgeable and full of advice, no hard sell just honest advice for buying uniform. Well done Beats!
We usually shop in Stevensons for our children’s uniforms but after a couple of less-than-satisfactory experiences we were recommended your store by some parents at my sons new school and I can safely say we will never shop anywhere else from now on for our top-ups. (I expect you’ll be seeing us again soon as he grows at the rate of knots!)
What an absolute delight of an experience from start to finish.
I have never felt compelled to leave a review online but I couldn’t not shout about my experience with you.
I visited your store on Saturday (8 Oct) with my husband and son as we needed some Items for our son who has had a very difficult start to the school year and has learning difficulties and gets anxious often. It was a challenge in itself to even manage to persuade C to come into the store. (Typical boy, hates shopping, hates trying on clothes etc!) When we arrived we were greeted with a huge smile from one of your team who asked us what we needed and also spoke directly to our son, asking his name and involving him in the conversation which almost never happens in other stores and I think this helped massively with the whole experience rather than just talking to the parents and overlooking the child. The lady did tell us she had just started working for your company this week ended up asking another staff member to help out which I found extremely reassuring to see (even though I would not have guessed this had she not told us). The other girl serving us was so thorough and knowledgeable about what was needed and we didn’t feel like we were being railroaded into spending money on items we weren’t sure that we needed and she even suggested buying a slightly bigger size jumper so it would last longer (where some shops will unashamedly ensure you would need to return in a few months as the child will have grown out of it). My husband and I both agreed that the focus was on the exact needs of the customer as opposed to lining the pockets of the business. We felt like the suggestions made to us were genuinely for our/my sons best interest. I wish we had known about you when my other children needed kitting out!! Although C was still a little reluctant to try the clothes on, it was definitely less of a battle than we were expecting!
I think the girl who helped us initially saw that C was a little upset and he had walked away to look at some games that were out on the table and she actually took the time to not only explain the game to him but let him have a go playing it with him. All he talked about all afternoon was your shop and asked if we can come back next week!! We never got a chance to thank the girls properly as the shop was getting full by the time we had finished so I would be extremely grateful if you could pass on our warmest thanks to both the girls for their exceptional customer service, knowledge and for making our son comfortable throughout the time in your store. No wonder you come so highly recommended. You obviously train your staff very well as they are a credit to your business. My only negative about the whole experience is the fact I have no more children to buy for now 😂 and that we didn’t know about you sooner! I will have no hesitation in recommending you to others. Wonderful, wonderful experience. Regards, Sasha and Michael Blacksmith-Thorne.
Ps. Do you do activities for children during half-term? I’d be extremely interested to know if you do!
