All staff are amazing. Visiting is allowed with prior booking.
****Edit review August 2022****
I Had spinal surgery 8 weeks ago and I have experienced 3 hospitals, therefore I feel I need to review my original one. The Heath were absolutely phenomenal. They were attentive, quick, respectful, they listened and encouraged my recovery without being pushy, they were friendly and upbeat without sounding patronising or over the top. They were mindful of my needs and at the start of my recovery often seemed to know what I needed before I did! Thanks should be passed on to all staff on A6-North.

Best hospital ever. I had a spinal cord injury after crashing my bike at Bike Park Wales last December. If it wasn't for the prompt treatment and care that I got from the Trauma and ICU department, I would have not been able to recover so quickly. It was also important for me to recover quickly as my wife was having our first child. I owe each day spent with my child to this hospital and staff. Thank you each and everyone one of you.

Absolutely shocking waiting times! Sat for 8+ hrs in the tiny, filthy A&E dept. Staff don't want to know when you're asking questions and are rude. I understand that they are overworked/short staff but they need to understand that an 8 hr wait with no communication from them is poor. None of the patience have any idea what is going on with their treatment. Just left. Not one cleaner in that time. The place looks like a construction site. The 1 star is for the free parking which is 4 hrs.. so still not suitable really.

I’m so frustrated that our hospital has got so out of control in the A&E department there are people who have been waiting days for beds.

My Mother has been in there since 7am this morning with cellulitis in the whole 15 hours she has been there she has only had two lots of antibiotics in a corridor, her leg is meant to be elevated however there are no beds available so she has been sat on a chair in the waiting room the whole time and it’s not just my mum there is a lot of people in there needing a bed but there just isn’t the room.

I’m not for one minute blaming the Staff as they can only do what they physically can, but this is so out of control and people’s health is being put at risk something needs to be done to ensure people are getting the care the urgently need.

If you not dieing or not collapsing on the floor there is no way to see a doctor before 8h. Primary care service is non existent. No doctor or nurse to blame here they work like superheroes. Sack all the managers and administrators and make a total overhaul of the accident and emergency service. The current one is worse than a third world country.

Clear & Visible Covid Guidance in place, Sanitiser readily available, Signs openly visible & information staff on hand to help. A number of shops accessible to visitors and patients, Excellent Staff working under extreme pressure were courteous and were caring and went that extra mile, cannot fault the dedication! I felt 100% safe whilst there & a big Diolch yn Fawr to the staff - clean toilets too

My GP called the surgery ward direct. Arrived at the hospital at 3.30 on Wednesday, straight in bed , then onto ward after loads of tests at 8.30pm... all ok... Off home today. Good service. Awesome staff...

The service at this hospital especially in the A&E department is absolutely shocking. My girlfriend who is a carer has been waiting with her client in A&E for 16 hours. The department have not prioritized her needs. Her temp is nearly 40 and she is in huge amounts of pain that is not being recognized or looked at. The lack of care in this department is concerning and the overall system needs to be inspected. I am not impressed with the attitude of some of the staff either.
