I never been here until a two-three weeks ago. A nice lady told me what I needed to know about the library.
The atmosphere is on nice and quiet when u need to study or work.
There is even areas of the library where u can study when u want to be alone. Enough for people with laptops.
What I found amazing was u can eat and drink whilst studying, which u can't do in other libraries.

One of the best library I have ever been.
I know few students didn’t like in Covid but restrictions were placed for our safety.
Good things about library
*24/7
*Got high Speed Wifi
*Free Drinking water
*Free 1 hour Mobile charging point it £1 deposit
*Staff check on regular basis for our safety
*Silent Study room
*You can message if someone near you is being very loud.

Nice library, unfortunately it's currently plagued with covid or flu or whatever it is. I don't really understand why people who are feeling very sick and it's obvious as they can't stop coughing are still going there. They should rather stay at home instead of making others sick (y), but no one really cares

Awesome library!
You have everything you need - study room, art studio, all the handbooks, printers, laptops for rent, good quality computers and helpful IT service.
Water fountains and got a water dispenser.
Above all very spacious and comfy.

how is it that most other universities operate 24 hour access libaries yet kimberlain libary with all their funding cant figure out a way to offer 24 hour access to their library for students? WARNING BEFORE U CHOOSE THIS UNI UNDERSTAND THAT THEY DONT HAVE A 24 HOUR ACCESS LIBRARY, imagine paying over 9k and not having 24hour access, How can they afford to buy outdoor tv screens for vanity reasons yet not something of utility like 24hour access?i seriously would have chosen a different uni like UOL who do offer 24hour access instead of dmu if i had known,my work schedule makes it difficult for me to study during the day and i only have free time during the night, the fact that dmu dont care and dont cater to the many students who have complained that there isnt 24hour access and are tone deaf,STAY AWAY FROM APPLYING TO DMU.

The Library said that they be open for 24 hours during exam time, well now exam times are upon us and the library still operates the usual 7am to 2am. Its very hard for me to study during the day because of work commitments and only have much time during the night.

COVID19 precautions are over the top, ableist, and honestly embarrassing when students are paying 9k to be there, to be kicked out after 2 hours, made to wear a mask even when completely alone, or forced to wear a lanyard describing their disability. It's just not good enough to only be open for 12 hours with reduced capacity for a university with tens of thousands of students. Staff are aggressive about masks, noise is ridiculous even in what is meant to be a quiet area. For the money you pay, it might be better to go to the public library

When is going to be 24/7? Believe or not, students really need that...
