Greedy landlords who don't consider student needs. I'd advise sticking to accommodation directly let by the uni who are more likely to have compassion for students in difficult/challenging situations - covid or otherwise. Uni provided 50% refund on halls unused because of covid. UNITE gave nothing. Also "24 hour service" is a very misleading discription of the front desk staff.
