Amazing college where to study fashion or communications. Not fancy bar at all despite their amazing and cheap menus, with student discount. It has normally one free exhibition for all publics.

Very impressed and happy how London College of Fashion and my course leader Liz Gee is making a big effort to narrow the gab between academic studies and professional practice. This and last year the BA Fashion Management 1st year students were given £100 seed capital to execute a small business idea. They had to go trough all the steps of starting up a business from registering the business, opening accounts and developing the product. This is absolutely brilliant and something I wish I had before starting my business! I felt there was a huge jump from the academic world to entrepreneurship and struggled a lot with the practical challenges of actually delivering my business plan. Very happy that the university has realised this issue and helping the students to prepare to the business world. What a great uni! :) Very proud to be a studying at LCF #fashion #business #startup #startuptips #startuplife #entrepreneur #businessoffashion #entrepenuership #bof #fashionmanagement #lcf #ual #londoncollegeoffashion #universityofarts

Curtain Road staff is brilliant, technically good, however the entire university is lacking on organisational skills, too much of answer phone when trying to get through to either study support of student admin, careers department is useful as chocolate teapot. After being told by a Placement officer that the university maintains partnership with FIT in New York ( I was in the hope of getting some support for my application after paying the institution (UAL ) and being their loyal student for 4 years) and after meeting Jason- head of Careers, I was basically told as long as I am not paying UAL for future courses, they are not willing to help me, afterwards, I asked him to provide me with information in case I decided to seek a position as a buyer after graduation from UAL, and after being promised to be put in contact with the relevant person, he has not got back to me, and I could never get in touch with him again. He was arrogant and not helpful. Last year I asked for support for my USA internship studies and not one staff could help me with the procedure (not even suggesting me on the procedure), saying the staff dealing with these queries has left. Overtime a student needs something, the person who is able to help is all of a sudden decided to change profession. IT is rubbish, down at least one week a month- including CSM, and to get Essay support in final year is miraculous. There has been an official complaint form submitted- of course with no response, to request a breakdown of costs per annum (9K) and the financial officer, and the manager of the individual was totally clueless and said they can not provide me with such information. So may I ask, what are paying for ? I would consider choosing this university, for those who are already skilled and prefer self-directed study, then go ahead, or for those who don't care much, go ahead too, the ones who need support and CARE... well, think twice before applying.

I attended this university, and I received my MSc from this there last year, but I was thoroughly disappointed with my experience. There were tutors who didn’t have a firm grasp on the subjects that were taught, and when I reached out to the administration to voice my concerns, they were essentially dismissed. They claim to care about their students, but my experience here proves different. Do better LCF!

Very poor student support service, university admin is the worse part, they have no communication with the teaching team. Appeal and complaint department don't take calls and meetings, took ages for emails to go back and forth. They only want money from student, poor canteen, most staff aren't helpful. Don't expect too much with this uni, they only have names.

The administrators lost my work in results I was forced to re take the unit and pay once again for term. No one was able to help me and I was blamed that I must have stolen the work myself. Very disappointing.

I’m on my last nerve, my emails are not being answered, no one is picking up the phone, you can’t find anyone to help you at the office, I have to say yes le no to job offers to do while at uni but I can’t since they haven’t replied and let me know what days of the week I will be busy and in the meantime your deadline is approaching and you get anxious and stressed for nothing because if they had a better service they would get in touch.
