It was a privilege to do a short exchange program for 3 months at Imperial where great minds works! The university is located in central London, just few minutes away from many of the great historic museums, Royal Albert Hall, Hyde park etc. A very nice locality, good connectivity, lots of restaurants. Do visit!

A fantastic college, having spent my postgraduate year here, studying International Health Management. The professors and admin staff are very pleasant. The environment is fantastic, such a modern campus. And the location is second to none with Hyde Park on your doorstep, along with the museums on Exhibition Road.

I would not disagree with anyone wishing to study here

A fantastic museum with some thought provoking exhibits. I travelled here from Dorset to specially visit the Holocaust exhibition. I entered at opening time and made my way directly here whilst the other patrons viewed the lower floors , this meant that i could take in the exhibition in alone and in quiet thought. Incredible. Staff wonderful. Cafe gets very busy so no seating within.

mperial College London is a public research university in London, United Kingdom. The history started with Prince Albert, consort of Queen Victoria, who developed his vision for a cultural centre that included the Royal Albert Hall, Victoria & Albert Museum, Natural History Museum, and Royal colleges.[8][9] In 1907, Imperial College was established by a Royal Charter, unifying the Royal College of Science, Royal School of Mines, and City and Guilds of London Institute.[10] In 1988, the Imperial College School of Medicine was formed by merging with St Mary's Hospital Medical School. In 2004, Queen Elizabeth II opened the Imperial College Business School.

A world class university with excellent research. It is specifically focused on science, technology and medicine. The South Kensington campus is the main one and houses most of the departments and they have various other campuses and hospital spread around London. I'm giving 4 stars because their internal catering called Imperial Catering was and is absolutely awful always giving greasy low quality food. Overall, one of the best technical universities with a rigorous education and research.

Everyone out here in the reviews praising the university for it’s academic reputation or it’s museum exhibits, but no one’s asking the real questions: how does the food at London’s most prestigious university taste? I had lunch at the Senior Common Room on a whimsical Wednesday noon, and the first thing I realised that I was severely underdressed. It seemed like everyone was dripped out from head to toe, as if trying to impress their crush. Take note: the nerds here do NOT play around.

Onto the food: I happened to sample the mutton curry with rice(£5) and chocolate orange cake with chocolate sauce(£2). Addressing the elephant in the room: £7 for that. In London. Mental. Big ups to imperial for not squeezing their students at the lunch table when they easily could. What’s another cheeky £10 per meal when you drop 30 racks a year on tuition? I digress, the mutton curry was quite satisfactory, providing ample flavour, without skimping on meat. The chocolate cake had a delightfully spongey texture, with the sauce complementing the cake beautifully. The portion size was quite satisfactory too.

Overall, very happy with what I ate. If you are in the area, definitely give this a shot. Student ID is required to purchase food though. Personally I would suggest trying to date someone who studies here, could work(I have not tried that though, so lmk how successful you are).

35 years later and it still depresses me immensely.

It does, however, have free toilets which is a rarity in SW7 (unless you count BT phone boxes).
