I was so excited to start a MSc with the university (via online learning) but it turned out to be a disaster. The course is set in a way that you are truly on your own, to the point where you could just do this course by reading yourself and not paying the course fees. No interaction with your tutors, no feedback and you have to wait a while to get a reply to a query. There is a lack of passion from the uni for you to do well. You don't feel part of something or even welcome. When a few of us left the course 6-7 weeks in, we didn't even get asked 'what is wrong, or what can we do better'. If you like the non-personal style of studying fine but otherwise wouldn't recommend this uni I am sorry to say. In contrast moved to a different uni, studying an online MSc and wow already feel welcomed and part of the course and uni - lots of engagement from the staff/tutors.

Where too start what an absolute disater of a university. The support they advise they give is performative and the admin ask team are incompetent beyond belief which is very dangerous and detrimental with them making errors and giving misinformation and withholding information. The finance team are very greedy and selfish do not want to help at all. Culture at the university is also very toxic and unhelpful.

I wish I had read the reviews before joining this university because there seems to be a lot of common issues at this university

I studied Aerospace engineering at Telford campus. £110 for an en suite, located right next to the lecture building. No fee for parking and there are plenty of spaces. The course is good and is accredited by the IET. I wrote this review because I had to deal with another university and I remembered how good I had it here.

The Wolverhampton online masters in mental health and wellbeing is a poor choice name for a course that creates a lot of unnecessary stress for their students. I'm lucky in that I had previously completed an online masters through the Open University who do get the balance right. Having had this experience I was shocked with the lack of support and compliance with basic standards. Mistakes can happen but it is the way they are dealt with that counts.
Lots of young students had this as their first online course experience and I was seriously concerned about their mental health as the instructions, assessment rubrics and communications were appalling. The lack of professionalism towards their students was unacceptable.
There are far better course providers and the only benefit of the course was meeting a few terrific students who helped me find a high standards course. Anyone looking to enjoy lifelong learning should avoid Wolverhampton University.

Having access to the Wolverhampton Cyber Research Institute (WCRI) to learn with first-hand experience how to address the unique complexity and challenges associated with cybersecurity in a constantly evolving threat landscape gives me great joy and relief

If you got disability issues don’t bother seeking support, you can discuss your issues in front of everyone and don’t bother about confidentiality. Also when applying for well-being support it takes ages for response and if you bring evidence for staff to upload it doesn’t show up on the app. Teacher are okay but it will be better if teacher consider people way of studying. I was advised to start my assignments early eventhought I am not ready to start it yet as I am still struggling with it. What’s the point of disability support if you’re unable to offer it faster. You’re on your own in this university.
