Phoned up and got a very snotty impatient woman on the phone and then when I emailed a pic, as asked, they didn't even bother to come back with a quote, stay clear, certainly not a professional company

Brilliantly reupholstered my vintage Eames office chair in leather. Others wouldn't even attempt! Great selection of quality leathers in wonderful colours. Professional, friendly and efficient.

Helped with a custom pillow restoration, did a great job at a reasonable rate. Timely and professional. Highly recommended.

Roger and Anne collected my scruffy damaged solid oak table that has been abused by four daughters painting their nails and scalding it with hot drinks over the years. Seven days later I have taken delivery of the most gorgeous, lustrous table that now looks as good as the day i bought it twenty years ago.
Communication was super. Price was very competitive and i am extremely happy indeed. Thank you to them both. Jackie

Anne at Bruce Upholstery is a literal gift to furniture!
Last year we were in need of having one of our couches recovered after a flood. It’s a one off sofa by a designer and after months of searching for the right person to do the job we were recommended to Anne and how glad I am. She really does know her stuff, the sofa was very bowed in the middle and she advised if she was able to that she would fix this as well. Knowing how precious the piece is she managed to get in contact with the designer to find out how it was made so she could fix it perfectly.
I found that the pricing at Bruce is extremely fair, for how much work that went into the sofa it was much less than I expected and much less than I had been quoted by other places for half of what Anne has done.
Communication via email can sometimes be slow, it’s understandable as Anne isn’t just fixing the furniture but doing all the communications as well. Plus if you are able to get her on the phone she is super lovely and we had many laughs. I am definitely a customer for life now.

Still awaiting a quote after two weeks, so not impressed with level of customer service.
