I didn’t want to buy new sofas as the ones I have albeit they are 10/15 years old are without marks and in great condition. Phil Gunter if Gunter Upholstery was recommended to me by a neighbour so I contacted him with a plan of how I wanted to re model them. He came to my house to do an assessment, I gave him photos of my design vision and off he went with them. After agreeing he could do what I wanted he came back and took my sofas away. That was last week and today they are back. Can’t really say to much about his work other than WOW !! They are just unbelievable. Quality workmanship at a reasonable price. I have had a chair recovered. Phil was very responsive and phoned me back within hours. I instantly liked his manner and could tell how knowledgable he is. Phil came and collected my chair and I felt confident he would do the job I wanted.
Well, the chair came back today and it’s amazing. The rickety legs have been fixed and the upholstery is first class. Phil used his initiative as I originally wanted a studded back but I’m glad he didn’t listen to me, it wouldn’t look half as good as it does without.
What a friendly, trustworthy professional man. I can’t wait to find another chair for him to recover.

This man is amazing!!…he is so accommodating, he came back it’s loads of samples for us to choose from, took out footstool to recover, did it in less than a week…and then we asked him to do the sofa seat pads, took them at 9.10am and returned them done at 4.00pm same day. Highly recommend!!, fab service and great price.
