Contacted Mike as I had a 3 piece leather sofa who’s cushions were wearing out. Turned out my particular 2 tone brown colour wasn’t particularly easy to match but after quite a few samples & full hides were viewed over multiple visits Mike finally found a close match that both he & I were happy with. After that the actual reupholstering work & re-foaming/padding of the seat base was completed in less than a week. The final cost was in line with the quote given. Am very happy with the finished job & with Mike’s efforts & workmanship. Would highly recommend and would certainly use Mike’s services again.

I would high recommend Mike, Mike made 4 seat cushion covers and 12 scatter covers in just over a week, they were made to perfection. His workmanship was reasonably priced and he was very helpful with advise. This will be my 3rd time using M A Furniture repairs. Brilliant service

We purchased two dark brown leather sofas 21 years ago and they were in a sorry state. The cushions sagged, the lining was torn and when our Bulldog was a puppy he decided to try and find treasure by digging a hole in the foam on the base of one of the sofas! We contacted the company who we purchased them from and yes, they can refurbish the sofas but all the leather would have to be replaced (the leather was not torn so why do that!) and quoted a ridiculous price of over £4800 !!! That’s when we searched locally and found Mike of MA Furniture Repair and so pleased we did! Mike requested photos of the sofas and I thought after I’d sent them he would say forget it! But being the professional he is, said yes!!! We arranged a convenient time and after a very knowledgeable discussion with Mike I was more than happy. After a very short period of time, Mike has returned our two sofas looking and feeling like new! New stuffing in the cushions, sorted out the foam on the base I mentioned earlier and replaced the lining. That was a fantastic experience but what was even better was the price he charged for his work. A fraction of what the manufacturer wanted. To say I am more than delighted is an understatement and I cannot recommend MA Furniture Repairs highly enough!

I've just collected my refurbished foot stool from Mike, it was tired and 'dated' but with his fabric recommendation it has been revitalised! Mike also replaced the foam in the matching snuggle seat, the result is amazing. This has saved replacing both items at a fraction of the cost, I highly recommend this company.

WOW. I contacted Michael at MA furniture repair by email, to request info on re-strapping a beloved sofa of mine. He was responsive and transparent with costs. He gave me a GREAT quote and arrived as agreed, the sofa proved to be more difficult than first thought, Michael approached the job with an exceptional attitude and jumped right in. I am unbelievably pleased with the work carried out, and the whole thing was completed from my home within 2 hours. The price was competitive and I cannot recommend the service enough to people. Really really great service, Thank you to Michael. Better than I could have hoped. I feel like I have a brand new sofa.
