Absolutely fantastic! It is always the people that make the place and these people were more than amazing, so full of enthusiasm and could not show me enough new and exciting fabrics, if anyone wants a big rectangular footstool that retails at nearly £500 they have one they are trying to get rid of, only reason we did not buy it was we don't have the space.

If it's variety you want, then it's fantastic, and they have some pretty high-end fabrics at half the price you'd expect to pay (still expensive for me though!).

Lovely fabrics to browse through and although a little bit more than I like to pay, it's convenient and because they have so much fabric I can count on them having more if I need it.

The people are very nice and very friendly, but if I could change one thing I would ask that they wait to be asked for advice rather than keep trying to push the fabrics. I'd rather visit when it's busy so that I could be left to browse.

This is long winded for that I apologise!
I am a newcomer to sewing and decided to make a couple of blinds,I wanted them to be mainly black!
Walking into the shop I was surprised to see so many fabrics and didn’t quite no where to look, this was swiftly resolved by the owner and assistant who where slightly over attentive! Eventually the owner held up a mainly black fabric which I really liked! He said there was no need to line it as the other side looked really nice too! I payed and left feeling pleased.
When I started cutting my panels out it began to fray uncontrollably! Showing a friend she pointed out to me that that was the back and not the front as sold to me😡
I phoned to raise this with the owner of the shop who would not listen to what I was complaining about and talked all over me!! He ended the call by telling me to take it to the small claims court!
So in short he was very polite and keen to take my money, but there is where it ended🤬 I’ve had to give one star just to post this!

Bought material here a number of times. This time it was to upholster dining room chairs. Really helpful having a wide choice and easy free parking too.

An absolutely fantastic selection of fabrics. Not just curtain and upholstery but lots of crafting/dressmaking fabrics too. Very reasonable prices. Can't wait to visit again soon.
