Really disappointed to share this review as wouldn’t normally go out my way to share negative reviews. However myself and my wife were really appalled with the whole experience. I phoned P Garrett up and he was extremely rude on the phone, I sent him in depth pictures he asked for and I was quoted a price subject to seeing them. We got to the place and no ‘hello’ or anything just ‘you’ve left this late’. Myself and my wife tried to converse but got nothing in reply, he just stuck a load of material on the chairs and waited for our response. After we said thank you and that we liked the material, he decided to put the price up - significantly. I challenged him to ask why put it up significantly when we are here and he then decides to talk, but only to say take it or get out, it’s your time wasted. It was clear he didn’t want the work and it was clear he didn’t want us in his shop for whatever reason. I have to say, his work looked exceptional, so if you’re wanting good work I would recommend, but if you’re wanting good customer service, a man who keeps his word, or even someone who is at least a little kind, please don’t use him. We felt unwelcome from the initial phone call all the way to leaving his shop. A real, real shame. But I don’t think he will be even bothered we’ve left this review!
