We had to cancel our delivery and re-arrange to the following week because of work. Have to be honest the girls over at Mark Webster were actually great because this was the second time we had to re-arrange. We didn't buy direct from them we actually got it from a local place but MW also delivered it and the two lads that dropped it off were great. They set everything up for us, checked over and made sure we were happy and took away all the rubbish.

I own three student flats and pretty much only ever use this furniture now. Most of the stuff I've had in the past just gets battered but this lasts really well. Great quality, quality pricing, free delivery cant grumble at all.

Super rude customer service. Missing delivery. No communication apart from a 53 second phone call 2 weeks ago to book delivery. I mean who says we cant provide an email nowadays ??? So surprised Costco even bother dealing with them. Have wasted a days work waiting in for these clowns. Rubbish rubbish rubbish. Do not use

Ordered my furniture on the 29th of December waited three months to receive it today it came and all I can say is please do not waste your money on this company £1400 for this I’m absolutely disgusted.

The legs don’t fit the chairs the boxes were smashed up the table legs have massive chunks of Metal missing absolutely heartbroken

Even the joints of where it has been welded has cracks such poor quality

I rang this company straight away all you get is send pictures not even an apology or any help to get the matter resolved

Ordered a dining table, 3 chairs & dining bench via Furniture Village in November, that was a nightmare in itself! (Check their Preston store reviews for that story).
In January we were given an estimated delivery date for 21st Feb by Furniture Village , we got rid of our original dining table & chairs to make way for the new one that didn’t even arrive so we were without one for over a month! Our new dining set finally arrived on 14/03/2022 & it was damaged! The table top itself had marks, dints & chips in it! The rubber stoppers on the chairs were broken. The delivery guy noticed the damage on the table but wasn’t even going to tell us if It was for the fact I asked him why he pulled a face & went quiet. He said he’ll put us down for a replacement table top & we wouldn’t have to wait 4 months again, we’d get a phone call within the week! We heard nothing for weeks. I had to keep calling them, one minute it was 6 weeks, so we waited & still no updates, the next time I rang they didn’t seem to know about it & again no updates afterwards.. so I left it a few more weeks before ringing again & we were told 2 weeks! Luckily they were able to post out 4 chair rubbers for free to replace the broken ones, plus spares! They arrived quickly! But that’s where the good news starts & ends.
Our replacement table top finally arrived over 3 months later, different delivery guys this time - they put it together & seemed desperate to get off again. I asked to check it over & tried to explain what happened with the first they changed the subject as if to shut me up. When I check over it, IT WAS DAMAGED AGAIN, THIS ONE WORSE THAN THE ORIGINAL!! The veneer is 2 different shades, they are dint & marks all over it, there’s marks that look like it’s been caught during varnishing, there’s chips of the veneer hanging off the corners!
We have again been told we will be sent a replacement so I imagine that’ll be one of our Christmas gifts at this rate. We put off our honeymoon & used our wedding gift money to pay towards this table. When you’re spending £600+ on just the table alone, you expect it to arrive in good condition, not be sent 2 damaged ones!!! Let’s see if three times lucky works with this company… however I’m not holding my breath.
Only reason I’ve given them 2 stars is because it’s actually a really nice set, once it’s in a decent condition!

Our purchase was made via Costco. The brown leather Chesterfield was delivered totally unmarked and done so by two of the most amicable and polite delivery men I have every encountered - nothing was too much trouble, it was unpacked, put together so quickly. I have two dropped stars, one for the poor customer service by not contacting us when promised and one star for making no attempt to resolve the promised delivery until Costco intervened. Overall I am happy with the product.

Whilst I dont like to leave bad reviews however the way the customer service lady dealt with my inquiry today was appalling. I bought a dining table and bench from Furniture Village and Mark Webster designs contacted me to deliver on 25 the Aug however I was out of the country so had to reschedule. When i contacted them on 19th Aug to reschedule they were unable to provide a date, three weeks on today she was still unable to provide me a date and was a politician like manoeuvring her answers around my questions to avoid providing me with any helpful information in regard of an estimate of a delivery date despite the goods being ready to be delivered three weeks ago. When I asked to speak to her supervisors she disappeared for less than 30 sec to return and tell me they are not at their desks. unhelpful, non courteous and unprofessional.

Poor service from start to finish. Bolshy office staff and vulgar delivery drivers. Furniture painted MDF rather than wood. Such a shame as I bought through dfs and expected so much better.Dfs were great though.
