Billingshurst Lions Book Shop

Great place for cheap second hand books, been going for years and love it. The staff are always friendly.

This is a great bookshop and well supported by the local community in donating books, however if they are not careful that supply could easily dry up. I took in another small bag of books on 29 Oct, mid afternoon only to be snarled at once more by the same chap who always does the same whenever you drop some in. No "thank you", and a real concerted effort to make me feel as uncomfortable as possible. Once he refused the books I brought down which then ended up in a local wheely bin as the other local charity shops wont accept them either, deferring to Lions. I am one snarl away from using my old novels as kindling or putting them in my blue bin, instead of making a 10 mile round trip in an attempt to support a local charity. I wont be the only person felling like this.

Fantastic shop. Always has something worth reading. A great way to recycle books / puzzles and to find something new. The shop raises money for the Lions who do great work in our community.

Me and my so love this charity shop! They support local primary school and always allow to sit and have a look at booms as long as we can! We always feel welcomed there!

Love the second hand bookshop and an excellent charity

Everybody in here so polite, bonded and helpful. It’s a hidden gem for book lovers. You can find to many books that you’re looking for as charity priced. If you live close or trespassing definitely recommended. You’ll love it. Be careful only not to forget parking ticket it’s very cheap but strict. Go for it, you’ll not regret it.
