Great garage!! After months of trying to find a new car I discovered Bridge of Wymondley. Wish I had googled garages in Hitchin much sooner!! Found a lovely Hyundai i10 with low mileage & perfectly priced for me. Salesman Chris was very patient & knowledgeable & took me on a test drive not just round the block like most garages do. Was able to get good feel if car suited me & did a trade in on my old car too so was very happy. Gary was also great in assisting with any questions I had. Highly recommended garage & excellent Customer Service. Nothing too much trouble. Will reccomend to Family & friends. Thank you.

Amazing service! Not only was the sale of my car back in October handled professionally and in a friendly non-pushy manner. I’ve had a couple of queries since that have always been answered with patience. I had a faulty boot lock today and so I gave them a call as another garage had been useless and said I needed to seek a main dealer garage, but the gentleman on the phone told me to pop over. When I arrived all three men had a look and the issue was easily resolved with a bit of WD40 and a screwdriver! Nice and easy and also free of charge! Could not recommend this garage more!

I needed a small car for commuting at a modest price. The two salesmen were helpful and friendly taking me through the process of buying and taxing the vehicle quickly and easily. I found was a small car in good condition that hasn’t given me a moments trouble in 3000 miles and three months.

The garage tends to have mostly East Asian cars: Kia, Suzuki, Hyundai with occasional Fords and Volkswagens. Similarly the cars tend to be at the older end. My purchase in 2018 was a 58 plate (about ten years old) but it came with all the right stamps in the service book and felt almost new.

If you need inexpensive and reliable wheels this is a great starting point.

We bought a used car , which we did with good advice from Chris. It was very good value, which is why we travelled from Hampshire to buy it. The Engine Management light came on soon after we took it home, indicating an issue with the sensors. This, inevitably, was not covered by the warranty company. Bridge Garage could not have been more proactive in sorting it out. They suggested we got it repaired locally and that they would pick up the tab. Both Chris and Gary are understanding, knowledgeable and helpful. Anything but the traditional image of second hand car salesmen out to rip you off.

Chris & Garry are both wonderful. Most positive car buying experience i’ve had. There was a slight delay from deposit to purchase, but both Chris & Garry worked tirelessly to fix the issue. One very happy customer :)
