Arrived to look at an Audi TT, the salesman was pleasant enough, gave us the keys and let us look round in peace. So far so good.
However when it came to discussing exchanging my car for the Audi, he said they don’t move on price at all (odd way to do business) and low balled me at £15k for mine but admitted it would go up for at least £18k. So 3k for doing nothing. On top of that, despite the same Audi’s going for £15.5k to £16k he claimed his was below average price. The guy wasn’t rude but very blunt, no negotiating, and blatant salesman nonsense over pricing.
Funnily enough when we rang to say we wanted to see the car, we were the first callers of the day, at midday. You’d sell more if you negotiated and made potential customers feel like they’re getting a good deal.

Bought my first car here. I completely forgot the gents name (I think Steve). Was really helpful and got everything done swiftly. Was in an out within 30 mins, that includes payment and sorting out road tax. Would definitely recommend

I would recommend ANYONE seeking to purchase a car to buy from Stevenage motors. I reserved the car online on a Sunday, had a call from Steve ( amazing man!!) the next day, I am based in London and had to ask to keep the car on hold for the week ( I hadnt owned a car in 23 years so was very nervous). Steve made the whole process seamless and easy. He accomodated all my request ( holding the car for two weeks after purchase and having it delivered to me in London). A few weeks later I had minor issues with the brake, I sorted it in London ( I should have gone back to them in the first place) , when I contacted Steve , he then referred me to Marco ( the manager ) , despite me being at fault sorting the issue out, Marco was very understanding and I was reimbursed me !!

It was a pleasure doing business with Stevenage Motors , I definitely will be back !! Thank you Guys !!

Very helpful staff. Found Stevenage motor company via auto trader when looking for a replacement car. We enquire via the website chat and the next day had a phone call to answer any questions and placed a deposit. As we were going to be arriving close to the closing time, they kindly filled out all the necessary paper work all in preparation for our arrival. On arrival was greeted and able to take the car for a test drive. There was no pressure and felt super comfortable with my decision. One of the indicator bulbs was blown when we took it for a test drive and they were very accommodating to ensure that this was resolved. Would 100% recommend!

Bought a car from here, Steve was so helpful. Customer service was above and beyond. Answered all my questions, professional and friendly experience from start to finish. If you’re looking to buy a car, would highly recommend.

Good Company to shop from,they had a choice of Good Examples of cars,I did test drive the Blue Mondeo bellow,which was spotless for the asking price unfortunately wasn't the trim level I was looking for(Titanium).I wish the new owner of the car so many happy miles with it as this was 3rd the best car in my list after driven 3K miles and 20 Mondeo's UK wide !
As much as I remember there wasn't any pushy selling tactics as some of the places I have visited or any pressure for sale,they let me look around and take my time analysing the article !
Overal very good satisfaction! If in the future I need some any other car I would like to buy,I would definitely give them a visit and make a deal with them ! We bought a Hyundai i20 from the garage on 14/08/21 and very pleased with it - it is the first time we used them as a bit of a trek but the car came up on AutoTrader. Steve was very professional and friendly, no hard sell, no pushing warranties or finance (paid cash), very easy transaction and a good, honest car. Will look at this garage again for our next car.

4 years ago I purchased a Vauxhall Insignia and for 4 years I've had trouble free motoring. Today I purchased a car for my wife and I can honestly say that I have received the best service from a garage that I could wish for. Every bit of advice given was spot on and we drove away same day with a perfectly suited car in superb condition for less than I could find anywhere else. Not pushy and they respected the fact we had a budget to keep to. They even arranged for temp insurance and Road Tax.
