We bought our car off Paul 2019 he was very helpful and obliging and even drove our new purchace up to us in Fife. Unfourtunatly the car delivered was a far cry from the one on the web page. The one shown was in "Imaculate condition" The one delivered had scratches on passanger sode and on the rear bumper and the passanger side mirror was not operational. My husband contacted Paul for rd Tax papers and regarding the wing mirror and Paul said he would source one and send it up. We are still waiting for this to happen. Every time my husband calls using his phone Paul dose'nt answer, if he calls on an unknown phone and Paul answers he says he will phone my husband back in 5 min, again we are still waiting. Another issue Paul is aware of( as my husband sent him a text) is that some of the warning lights come on intermittently, but no-one has been able to find the fault, this has led to me being too nervous to drive the car so it just sits in the garage. I for one would not buy a vehicle from him again. I could not recommend this company.

I have purchased several Jaguars from highstone car company and I have dealt with Paul green for over 25 years. Paul is the most genuine and honest person I have ever known and he will always go the extra mile and beyond to make your car buying experience second to none.
I would highly recommend you look no further than highstone car company And Paul green when looking for a Jaguar as his service and after sales service cannot be beaten.

If purchasing from here, please do your own checks. I was fooled by a 12mo MOT with "no advisories". 4k miles and 12mo later, the car failed on the most extreme of issues, including dangerous and major defects, and an advisory list as long as your arm. Sorting the defects alone cost a small fortune. I have since gained much more knowledge in this field, and whilst I understand that many issues can arise in 12mo, this was absolutely excessive and only points to an inadequate/dodgy MOT the first time.

I do need to add that Paul was professional and helpful when I bought the car. This place has a wide range of Jags to choose from, plus they have a YouTube channel showing videos of the cars currently in stock.

Highstone Car Company did a great job at getting the DPF sorted out on our Evoque when the main dealer refused to repair and wanted to charge us £1200 for a new one. Always had great service from this company.

I bought a Jaguar X-Type from Paul in August 2021. He was very friendly and helpful when I was looking at the car and sorted out the issues I identified prior to buying it. In the time between buying the car and my coming to collect it he even identified a couple more issues and made sure they were sorted before he delivered the car to me.

Unfortunately though that's where the good experience ends. I was over the moon with the car when I got it, but 3 months into owning it the radiator failed and released the coolant and I had to have the car recovered from the motorway. I realise that in a 19 year old car these things can happen, but what bothered me was that when I tried to contact Paul to claim on the warranty he was evasive, rarely answering phone calls and always telling me he'd call me back. Eventually I gave up on this and just had it repaired at my own cost.

The next 8 months were fairly trouble free, but when it came time to get the next MOT the car failed spectacularly with a range of corrosion issues which could not have happened in the year that I had it. The Jaguar specialist estimated it would need £2500-3000 worth of repairs to get it through an MOT so sadly I had to scrap it. When I bought the car it had failed an MOT on corrosion but Paul assured me it would be welded and resolved, and I assumed the work would give the car at least another few years. It only lasting a year throughout which it was garaged when not being used seems to point to the car having a dodgy MOT when I bought it, so I could not recommend this dealer to anyone looking for a Jaguar.

We have been looking for a Jaguar for several weeks now and came across Paul at Highstone car company. Our dealings with him have been extremely professional and Paul has gone above and beyond to get us the right car for our needs. My husband has been incapacitated with a badly broken ankle and leg since December last year and Paul’s care and attention has been invaluable. He delivered our new car to Leicester from Enfield which made the process even easier. We would highly recommend Paul and Highstone car Company if you are in the market particularly for a Jaguar. Thanks again Paul.

this is a long term review of high stone car company, I 1st purchased a jaguar X type 2 years ago and being 18 years old at the time I thought I was not going to be treated the same as some of the older adults but this was not the case, Paul is a honest and professional person who shows pride in the cars that he sells. The X type I purchased was absolutely beautiful and never let me down and when I put it in for mot it passed with no advisiories and the garage I took it to described it as mint.

fast forward to a day a go I sold that car back to Paul and he gave me a great price for it I expect to see the car on his website soon! overall Paul is honest and the cars that he sells are absolutely fantastic and I would absolutely purchase another car from him!! 11/10

I was looking for a car for my 85 year old dad. We were very patient, waiting for a suitable car to be available, as the website and general vibe of Highstone Car Company, suggested a reliable and trustworthy company to deal with and he had a good turnover of cars. The company is not local to us, but we were willing to make a trip for the right car.

Paul was very helpful, always letting us know what stock was in and available.

If you're looking for an X-Type, there is no one in the South East that I know of, who has such a good selection.
