We can't praise enough the fantastic service received from Stuart and Ian at Riverview Car Sales. We wanted to buy our first van for our new business and had read excellent reviews about this company which made us confident that we would get good service and advice. We weren't disappointed, there was no sales pressure and we were encouraged to look at the vans in our own time accompanied by a nice cuppa provided by Ian. With advice we selected a vehicle which the guys were happy to modify to our requirements. We picked the Caddy up today and couldn't be happier with our purchase and the excellent service received. The service from all staff at Riverview car sales is first class; each member greeted us on our arrival. Extremely respectful with an abundance of integrity. The vans they have for sale are competitively priced. I had placed a deposit on a van, but subsequently changed my mind due to the spec I was looking for. Stuart was extremely fair in refunding my deposit and attempting to source a van of my new requirements...I have experienced several van sales teams and this is by far the most professional and respectable. I would recommend to anyone.

(To ensure this was as genuine as it could be, I intentionally left the writing of this review for over a month after purchasing my vehicle, and I all I can say is I've had no issues thus far)

I was looking out for a used black Ford Focus 2009-2013, and after compiling a number of options on Autotrader, it was this trader that stood out the most. The previous great reviews and the guarantees being offered, meant this was an option I needed to investigate (despite being situated nearly an hour away from where I live). The staff were really friendly, genuine, very accommodating, and willing to help in any way they could. The documents and all the checks were provided (as well as a brand new clutch), and they had my complete trust by the end. The car was in fantastic condition, and exactly as advertised. I also know that had there been any problems, they wouldn't have hesitated to have them fixed before - or after - any purchase was complete. The whole process was quick and easy. Cheers! Jon.

1 Star for the friendly service. 0 for the van we bought. After reading reviews we came down from Norfolk to buy a van - all well and good. A few days after the 3 months warranty ran out the car started making funny noises. When I called I was reminded it only had a 3 month warranty and they couldn't do anything to help. Well, 7 months post purchase, the gearbox, clutch and dual mass flywheel are all knackered and need replacing. To top it off, the mechanic looking at the van for us tells us that the gearbox has already been reconditioned and that the condition of the van gives reason to believe it has done a lot more than the 40k miles that are on the clock (35k ish when we bought it). I would strongly advise taking a mechanic with you when viewing their vehicles and getting them checked out prior to buying.****UPDATE**** Starter Motor is also being replaced!!!

5 star service from Matt and Stuart from start to finish when buying my new transit connect. I said I would never buy a second hand van again after a previous experience elsewhere. However, I read previous reviews of Riverview on auto trader so took the chance and Matt and Stuart put me instantly at ease. From test driving the van to part ex-ing my car, they went above and beyond. The van is an absolutely lovely drive and a great price too. Thank you Matt and Stuart for all your help and great service.
