We’d been looking for a double cab pick up to tow our horse box for a while and spotted one on auto trader. We contacted the seller, The Car Credit Centre, and they were superb from start to finish. They are based in Liverpool and we travelled along the M62 from Huddersfield to view the vehicle. The premises were really easy to find. The staff were all cheerful and polite. The vehicle had a few minor issues which the salesman Fraser promised to sort. A week later we went to collect the vehicle and all issues had been dealt with and it looked like new.
The vehicle was very reasonably priced compared to others we’d seen nationally. There was no pressure sales and no quibbles about sorting the minor issues.
Great friendly company, good banter and we wouldn’t hesitate to use them again in future if they were selling a vehicle we liked. Cheers Fraser and your team.

Avoid this place at all costs! My son purchased an 8 year old VW Golf GTD from them. Just over a month later, made a 3 hour journey (checked all levels before he left) and coolant warning light came on and lots of white smoke from the exhaust. Taken to a garage, found no coolant in the coolant tank. They also carried out a combustion leak test, results indicating head gasket faulty. No hot air coming out from vents in the car, heater matrix was stone cold. They further proceeded to check condition of air and pollen filters which were very dirty, indicating they hadn’t been changed for a long time, after being told the vehicle had been recently serviced. Also Cam belt change overdue. We contacted them and was bounced from one person to the next. After countless conversations and speaking to the finance company, it was agreed they would collect the car for repair. Once the vehicle was returned, they had informed us the head gasket wasn’t faulty and they have apparently replaced the heater matrix (didn’t service or change cam belt) we didn’t receive an invoice of so called work carried out after contacting them again. Also never received V5. The bottom line is the car still has the same fault and is basically a knackered money pit. They are polite and helpful until they have your money, then don’t want to know.

Not happy to be fair. I’m an honest guy who trusts easily. Was offered a van and told
It was euro6, adblue- £200 deposit paid etc. Then unfortunately for personal issues ongoing with my family, didn’t come back in contact for a week & learnt someone has placed a £500 deposit & I’m not entitled to buy it. Wasn’t adblue after all either!!!!
Sales guy Jack apologised after saying his boss Fraser was the hierarchy and he was powerless promised me to give him a day to find another vehicle, transit custom limited.
Was offered a van for 1995 inc vat, then out its now on their website for 14995!! No VAT from what’s listed. Told it was in paint/ dent team for a week after it being in a crash upon delivery… lies. It’s. Still not been repaired after photographs on their website.
Turns out these guys run another company call John Charles motor group. I found a vehicle - Ford Transit Trend. Not limited but got the price to 18600 (listed on car credit centre as 21495) & was told they’re closing soon and we’ll do the deal Monday. Monday came and no calls, I rang up to say I’m ready to do the deal, and was told the gearbox won’t go into 3rd gear. Complete lies, it’s been sold since as far as I can see. I live 2 min walk away.
It’s all a shame considering I also was recommended buy people to deal with them a nd have learnt they drop £100 for the privilege to the recommender.
My honest opinion is these guys are in a sellers market and oblivious to pre care, after care and anything in between. No idea how they’re allowed to trade in such conditions it’s disgusting how untrustworthy a company can be. Absolutely disgusted. I later bought a van from Arnold Clark the same day after being strung along for a month… highly recommend them.

Another thing is the opening hours stated on google are incorrect. Get it together guys. I’ve a few friends who’ve deal with them and no qualms, but for future I’ll not be putting them forward at all.

Had all my cars / van of these an never a problem all staff are great and they go out there way for you I’m still in vivaro crew cab of them and 2 years lata van is great not a problem at all ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Thank you the car credit centre 🙏👍

DONT BOTHER AFTER CARE IS A JOKE WITH YOU BEING MUGGED OFF BY THE GARAGE AND THE WARRANTY COMPANY. within a week of purchase we needed a new battery the garage should have replaced an a faulty sensor they kept turning off saying the battery was low an that was causing the sensor to come on went to a proper garage for a disnostic test. both needed replacing. in total £940 worth of work the garage knew needed doing but didn't before they sold the van. DONT BOTHER

Fantastic customer service. I’d highly recommend the whole team. Jack and Paul were so efficient and a pleasure to work with.
