After being told by another local garage that my engine was damaged beyond repair, I took my car to John at JM Autos. He took his time to investigate and get to the root cause of the problem. I am now on the road with the engine sounding as good as new and for a fraction of the price that I would have paid for a reconditioned engine. I cannot recommend him highly enough. My clutch had gone on my Renault Clio and unfortunately I had very little time to get it repaired before I left Nottingham. John was able to repair the clutch in a day, despite being a difficult clutch to pull apart. The replacement is excellent, just taken the car on a long motorway journey and it did not miss a beat. John was also very approachable, professional and communicated what had been done. Would definitely recommend.

I have been using JM Autos to service and look after my cars for many years now and I would happily recommend them. Jon the garage owner is such a friendly and helpful chap, honest and always willing to help whatever crops up. The quality of the work is always excellent and the prices are very competitive and a lot cheaper than paying main dealer prices.

I've been using John for 2 years now and wouldn't go anywhere else. He was recommended by a friend who found him friendly and honest - I couldn't agree more. His communication is excellent, he does what he says he is going to, and he will go out of his way to get you the service you want (last night he pulled a late for me so I could collect my car in the morning). The owner, John, knows his stuff when it comes to cars and he’s a really nice guy too. Nothing is every to much bother for him, always happy to explain the work before carrying it out and does not charge the earth. If you are fed up paying too much at the main dealers and are looking for an independent garage to look after your car, then I would recommend JM Autos.

When I needed my car repaired quickly as I use it for work, this was no problem at JM Autos. John went above and beyond to fix my car quickly so that I didn't have to take time off work. He was very professional, fair and knowledgeable. I won't be going anywhere else from now on. Thankyou!

I’ve used this garage on a few occasions now. John (owner/mechanic) could not be more helpful. I’ve always found him to be very knowledgeable, but explains everything in layman’s terms, so you fully understand exactly what work is being done.

He also only does work that’s necessary. He won’t try to tell you something else is wrong with your car to try to get more business. He treats your car like it’s his own, doing the very best job he could possibly do, without over charging you for the privilege.
If you want a good job, at a very fair price- he’s your man!
