I am very impressed with the level of professionalism displayed by every team member of the garage. At no point did I feel pressured into purchasing a car, instead I was made to feel that the team had a genuine concern for my needs and wants and were willing to go the extra mile for me. From sourcing a finance company with the best rate to ensuring the vehicle was working as it should be and even providing an after sale warranty service. This is a dealership that doesn’t shower you with sales jargon, instead there is a genuine concern and care for every customer ensuring 100% customer satisfaction....I recommend!!

Bought a car from these cowboys last year with a "warranty", despite their assurance that I would have no problems and that they would put right any that did come up, the car needed over £1000 worth of repairs within the first month for existing problems. The warranty they gave didn't cover anything and they refused to take the car back for repairs or offer anything towards getting the car up to the standard they had described it as. Always the same excuses when you call them, that the manager isn't in today, or they're busy and they will call back (never had a single call back from them).

I would recommend if you're thinking of buying a car from this garage that you AVOID them like the plague, they're passing off cars they know to be faulty as good and promising service that they have no intention of providing.

Avoid this place ! Do not , I repeat do not buy a car from these people.
We in good faith bought a Audi TT RS December 2021 . Just under 19k!
Less than 3 months clutch has gone and then another part connected to the clutch. We went 3 weeks without a car. With 2 children and working full time shift work this was a absolute logistical nightmare .
£1,795.00 later the car is back with us .
No thanks to racecourse garage.
They have caused us so much distress .
Initially saying and agreeing they would pay some funds £325 towards the cost of fixing what it would of cost them to fix .£650 they say.
As the car was in Halfords as that’s the only place that would take the car under the warranty they gave us !! The irony !
But yet to see a penny and are now hoping we will go away !
I have been on the BBC before dealing with people like racecourse and I will not give up .
So I look forward to seeing them in court very soon ‘
I’m the meantime do not come here and tell everyone you know.
I certainly will be giving factual information of our experience

DO NOT USE THIS GARAGE

I bought a LR Discovery 3 from Racecourse Garage in May 2021. Within 8 weeks it broke down and was placed on a car transporter and returned.

Over the next 8 months all I received was lies. Clive tells you he has no control and can’t do anything. He will promise to call you back but never does. When questioned he says ‘there is nothing to tell you’.

Twice I travelled to collect the car only for it break down again within 5 miles of the garage.

Eventually made contact with the owner, Richard, who blames Clive for everything. (Clive blames Richard). Eventually agreed to refund after sending a letter threatening to take him to court. The refund then took 2 more months to come through! Asked about returning the courtesy car and no response.

Eventually got fed up of it sitting on the drive and took it back myself.

What ever you do, don’t buy a car from here! They are an absolute joke.

Its the one and two stars that tell you all you need to know about this company.. If you want good, stress free service you won't get it here.. I put a deposit on a car, found out a couple of hours later it had no service history and the car had issues so requested my deposit back which they agreed to... it then took me over a month to get it back with nothing but lies, broken promises and even complete ignorance as to why it wasn't returned. Tbh I am very surprised I even got it back. I can't imagine what service I would have got if I actually bought the car and then found issues.

This is the worst garage I have ever had to deal with. Spent 15k on a discovery 4 from them, was sent back 4 times with problem after problem. They refused to give me my money back. So we are now getting all the problems fixed through our own garage costing nearly 2k. Clive let me drive away with my 5 month old daughter in the back knowing full well the car ISNT safe for the road, just to add salt to the wound I have just received a impounding notice for my car I part ex over 4 months ago. This garage is awful.

This is on behalf of Mr Robinson, who bought a Vauxhall Astra, in 3 months of owning it, it was only on the road for 4 days cost £900 to get it road worthy, absolutely disgusting, they have no after sales services, tell you aload of lies, and no help once you have paid the money. Would never recommend this garage, my business was built on recommendations and if I had treated my customers like this, which I wouldn't have, well it wouldn't have lasted 49years

Have been very pleased with the service we received at Racecourse Garage. The car (Land Rover) was prepared exceptionally well and even when a small issue surfaced after a few weeks (battery) Richard kindly agreed to put it right and cover the cost. Richard in particular was good to his word throughout and we would be happy to recommend.
