Cash for Clothes Romford | Hornchurch

The person there to collect the clothes would only look at 2 of the 4 bags of clothes we took down. The lady sorted through the clothes and threw (yes literally threw) the clothes she did not like to the side.
She told us she was looking for fashionable clothes, and some of our stuff was (although in perfect condition, washed and properly folded) too old.
While we were there several other people arrived and got a similar deal, some were so disgusted that they took back all the clothes and left.

We found a better place near Rainham sheds (just off the A1306) that paid better money and accepted 90% of the clothes as these were going to Africa, they did not want Jumpers and Sweatshirts

The other review is absolutely true. I took a bag of good quality clothing. In the bag was a pair of fashionably ripped jeans. The woman in the shop said no to the whole lit abs waved me away. Hiw rude

Time wasters. Took a lot of clothing in to them, they picked holes in the slightest possible thing and then disregard entire bags of clothing based on this, including unworn items still with tags. They then made up rules to mess you around like 'no shirts' rather than look through what you've brought to them.

Little point using this service if they're going to demand the highest quality goods and pay 50p a kilo for them.

For once I am happy that I ignored previous reviews. I went to the recycling office last Saturday 12/03/16. The young lady and young lad were ever so polite. We had a nice chat while they sorted through the clothes. They explained why they could not take everything, which was fine. I took all that was left over to a charity shop. Service with a smile, thanks guys!!

First time Ive been here had 3 bags turned one bag down as said there not suitable however kept designer clothes. primark came back?? For five pound I give to charity in future.

For a charity run organisation,for people who are that deprived in this world and are in serious hardship times,this shop was THE MOST SELECTIVE AND PREDANTICT SHOP...I had a speck!! A dot on the arm of a £200 old designer coat...The woman said cannot accept...FOR ALL THOSE WHO WANT A GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY AND KNOW THAT YOUR CLOTHES ARE ACTUALLY GOING TO PEOPLE WHO NEED IT AND ARE NOT SELECTIVE....GALLIONS REACH CASH FOR CLOTHES,They accept alot more items...

Came to the store asked about how it all worked and I was not even greeted properly the lady was extremely stuck up and seem to have a problem working there. She went on about everything they don’t accept and didn’t even offer to look at the cloths! Joke of a business, get yourself a member of staff whom can smile and actually say hello to the customer and be bothered to do there job! Your loss as I went to your local competitor whom was much more reasonable and polite!

Lovely lady working there, very helpful and friendly, definitely will be coming soon again ❤️
