Barmouth Bay Holiday Park

Have always come to Barmouth for many years and thought we would try this site.
We booked this holiday direct with the site but after speaking to some people on the site in the same type of caravan found we had paid £400 more by booking direct....which was very disappointing.... I am told UK caravans are the go to booking site.
This site is a very lively and definitely for family's and drinkers! as the club round the corner from us was always very busy and lively so going for ice cream from the local shop was an early morning job. At night it was noisy when chucking out at the club with people going home. The shop was good but expensive as they are. The kids loved the park and the indoor swimming pool but you had to get there early to get in. The park for the kids and recreation area for football etc was also fab for the older kids.
The access to the beach was not ideal for family's wanting to set up camp for the day, as you had to conquer the mound of pebbles to gain access so be prepared. The caravan was good but the shower was a nightmare and constantly ran hot and cold and dry!! The fridge is only a small one which we found to our detriment when we got there as took lots of fridge food with us.
We had a good time but alas we would not go again.

We just came back from our first caravan holidays ever and it was great. Much better that we could imagine. Caravan was super clean and well prepared. Staff was really friendly and helpful location beautiful. What more you can wish ? We will definitely come back.

Just come back from a week long stay on this beautiful site. The staff are all friendly and welcoming and the upkeep of the caravan site is wonderful, everywhere is so clean and tidy. There's an outdoor adventure playground, indoor heated pool, arcades, shop, pub, chippy and ice cream/doghnut store on site and 3 easy access points direct to the beach. The caravans are spacious, clean and tidy and you can also pop across to the sister site of away resorts for a spot of bowling and food. I will 100% be returning next year it's beautiful here.

We booked the cheapest caravan we could during the summer holidays for a short stay for our toddlers 2nd birthday. The place was clean, well furnished and well maintained. The staff were lovely. The playground is brilliant. The pool is small but big enough. The beach is perfect. The chip shop is great. The nightlife looked a bit greasy for us but we just hung out in our nice caravan so that wasn't a problem. All in all it was a perfect little stay and we're already planning our next trip here. I can't recommend it highly enough.

Me and my partner stayed here for 3 nights it was a lovely break. Staff were absolutely amazing beautiful caravans I would definitely recommend these thanks guys. Xx

Stayed in a superior caravan right near the beach, was absolutely beautiful.
We even received a wonderful gift bag for our dog gus,

Weather was abit rubbish but had a wonderful stay.
Highly recommended this place.
Staff were attentive to our needs and very friendly.
