Everything went pleasantly smooth until two weeks after the hire finished, when I get a notice of Parking Fine (PCR?), which in my opinion is wrong anyway and which I have appealed but that’s a different story, plus…. a GBP35 Imperial admin fee. The fine is an eye watering GBP100, or 60 if you cop an early plea, then this mob charge you 30% or 50% admin on top. Apparently, as it would seem with most negative reviews on here, ‘they are only passing on the fees their leasing company charge them..’ It’s clearly a racket, be aware.
Dasty in particular, but also Munaf and the rest of the team were superb in communicating with me whilst I was in Singapore, and altering vehicles collection / pick up dates and times.
I would highly recommend the company to anyone!

I was told at the time I would have my deposit fully refunded due to the inconvenience of being stranded roadside for so long. This happened when the UK went into lockdown, as such I had other things on my mind at the time and never checked up on it. I only remembered again today as I need to book a car for next week and it jogged my memory, so I checked and the deposit wasn't returned. This prompted my call this morning, poor experience and subsequent review.
I rented a kia Niro from imperial car hire for over 2 weeks and and I can only say all went smoothly until the day of collecting their car and noticed 2 minor scratches on 2 wheels.
I was sent invoice for £228 for tiny scratches and from my previous experience with other companies which I rented more expensive cars it was only charged £62 for each wheel so almost half what I was charged from imperial care hire.
Just to clarify this it is scratches not DAMAGES
I believe that they over charged me and I think they even make money from this type of claims.
I have to say I’m so disappointed with this and please be aware of this hidden charges.

I was told that 1 day prior to hiring this car the company would call me to collect payment and deposit. 5.00pm came and went on that 1 day prior with no phone call from them. So, I tried calling, but they never answer their phone, so I left msg asking them to call back. Someone did call about 5.20pm, only to tell me that there is NO hire car for me, because the person who has hired it has not brought it back so far. They said they have no other autos available, only manuals, which i told them I did not want. Anyway, I was hopeful that the person hiring that car was just late, and that I would get the car by the next day. I told them so, and asked them to call me anyway.
They called me the next day, but well after the time I was due to have the hire car delivered anway, only to be told that the car was NOT yet back. They didn't offer me an alternative, just told me it was not back.
I must say, I was pretty furious for a few reasons:
1. They made no attempt to locate a vehicle elsewhere for me to hire.
2. Phoned me right at the last minute to inform me that my car was late.
Furthermore, I simply do not believe that a car hire company cannot secure another car to meet the customer's requirements. This company has let me down, massively.
I would NEVER EVER recommend them, not even to my worst enemy.
