Directed to the office by a very friendly dog! Excellent efficient and friendly service throughout the whole process, I was treated like a person and not just another booking.

Pick up and drop off at the times promised without hassle.
Already booked next hire, would definitely recommend.

Absolute Scam.

Rented a van from the Enterprise in Manchester and then drove down to Ashford in one day, upon arrival we returned the van and were told that we had damaged it (see photo).

The 'damage' was a crack in the bumper by the reflector about 2'' in size and because of this the instant excess was applied to my cc of £1000.

This cost was later justified as £557.72 Damage, £50 Admin Fees and 7 days @£63 a day loss of use (£441). Total = £1048.72.

At the time of writing this I have spoken to 3 body work places, only out of curiosity since I know there is no chance of getting my money back from these swindlers, and they have quoted me £42, £48.50 and £55 for this damage, and highlighted they could complete this in a couple hours. One even commented his dog could fix it in less than 6 days.

You may think you are getting a good deal, you are not. The reason they can keep low prices is because they rob people with no justification and completely immorally.

May I add, we are certain we did not hit anything, admittedly we did not fully inspect the vehicle before hand, this was naïve of us, do not think you can trust this established company. Shop somewhere else.

Horrible company. We reserved a van for Saturday and I called them to let them know I was running a little late and they didn't think to let me know that they close at 12. Ruined absolutely everything - maybe hire staff that have half a brain to let customers know important information like that.

- As I can see from your response you have no interest in improving your service and are trying to pass blame onto your customers. Any half decent company would inform customers when they call to let you know they are running late "Oh just to let you know we do shut at 12." It's the professional thing to do. But I guess that's what you get when you deal with a selfish, unprofessional, unhelpful, disgraceful company such as this one.

If you require a van hire in Ashford, I would advise you take your business to the far better Kenhire Ltd, who also offers unlimited miles, brilliant prices and best of all - excellent service. Far more than you can say for this sorry excuse of a business.

First time using a small hire company instead of the larger brands which i was a bit nervous about. (mainly because my name matches the Van :)) I hired the LWB for 3 days, nice easy pick up with Friendly staff (and Dog) and i was on my way pretty quickly. I wish i took a video of the van before i left as there was a lot of scratches/small dents which in fairness most was highlighted before i left. (its a working van) I kept on finding a few more throughout the weekend which i know i hadn't done (including a v small crack to the indicator) so the thought of the drop off was on my mind most weekend with me wishing i took a video. In fairness the guy ( i think the owner) was lovely and did a full inspection and was happy with it and said we are very fair here which is something i can now concur to. (he admitted the indicator had a small crack on it before i hired it even though it wasn't recorded which is very honest) So me worrying about not taking a video was a waste of energy! I thought the price was great, it was clean and a company i would definitely use again and recommend.

Popped in Saturday and done the paperwork, picked the van up Sunday and all good. Nice van, competitive prices , friendly staff. Would definitely use them again . Thanks all

Hired a Luton van for the day for a house move. Got there at 0750, ready for a 0800 opening. I was shown around the van and any present damage was documented. I was away and on the road by 0810 so I was pleased with this. Had the option of returning the van 24 hours later as part of the day hire but wasn't needed and returned it at around 1630. The return process was again swift taking around 10 minutes. This is the second or third time using their service and would use again for a local hire.

Booked a van at short notice on Sunday, cheaper then most hire places. Good people, good van. Will use again.

Must say this .... They were lovely and helpful. I had the UK driving license for just over a year. However, we need 2 years of full driving license without any other issues with your driving to hire a vehicle. So, I used my Indian driving license (driving since 2005) to hire with an additional deposit. We drove the vehicle like ours, cleaned (Just that I liked to) it at the end and returned. They were happy to refund the amount after checking for any additional damages. I would definitely recommend Ashford self hire.
